I think they actually said he'd be coming on the road trip before the Kings game. I imagine it's just insurance in case of injury or foul trouble. The team also said Okur "might" join them on the road trip.
 
I think they intended that he play just the 2 games with the Flash even before the Millsap injury. Hope Millsap and Okur can play at least limited minutes. It's definitely "All hands on deck" time...
 
Looks like Fragilenko could be out with back spasms again. Maybe thats why Evans was brought back.
 
Well hopefully he can get some PT this time around with the Jazz! I liked what I saw from him in his 1 D-league game and he's instant energy off the bench for the Jazz. Get this boy some PT please!

yes, at this point, play evans & hayward as much as possible.
 
Ya I posted the link in the game thread that said he'd be recalled up for this road trip, so he was coming up regardless of what happened during the Kings game.

Also I DVR'd the Flash game (yes I'm a dork) in the hopes of seeing some Evans and boy howdie he didn't disappoint, definitely some highlight video Material and the announcers couldn't stop gushing over him. Granted it's a NBDL game so not always a lot to gush over.
 
Also wanted to add right from the get go it seemed Evans was much more confident, like he knew he belonged that was good to see. It had to have helped his confidence and I hope it carries over when he's back with the Jazz (if he gets time that is).
