What's new

Exactly.

Umm thats speaking to the Lakers, world champions two years ago. We have a team of overpaid, role playing vets. Ship them out.

So we should ship our vets out before we even know what we have in guys like Favors and Kanter? If we start Favors, I'm completely fine with keeping Al on the team this season. As long as Favors and Sap both get 30 min/per, keeping Al should benefit us. We need the depth this season.

I'm not calling for Corbin's head but it's perfectly appropriate to lay a lot of blame for last night fiasco on him and the rest of the coaching staff.

If The Jazz compete and still lose tomorrow, then fine he brought the team forward a little bit. If not, expect more of the same and rightfully so.

That's true.

But for the record, I've been on the 'dump the vets (sans Sap) train' (maybe even the conductor?) since last year's deadline.

But you're right. I'm more happy to see what Favors showed than bummed about anything else.

I'm hoping both Okur and Jefferson raise their trade value by the deadline (when is that by the way?) and become more tradeable for assets/good role players.

It's hilarious for you clowns to call for people to keep a level head about the vets. I agree about Corbin. He hasn't even had his chance. But the vets? C'Mon man. What is taking you so long to see what kind of players they are. They suck and they aren't getting better. They are slow, flat footed, no game, no hustle, hacks.

You get in there and do it then. But you're probably slow, fat, flat footed, no game, no hustle type of guy in general. I already know youre a hack. No need to question that.

This, this and this again.

I want Al to be traded for the right deal. Locke continues to harp on Memphis trading for one of our bigs. IMO, Jefferson would be the guy to go. Right now, I just see Millsap having more value in our big rotation. With Kanter and Favors more than capable of holding down the 4 or 5, and Okur off the bench at the 5. Jefferson can easily go......because he never really fit in with our system in the first place.

Al is supposedly more "explosive" than he's ever been in his career. Let's hope he is.......just in time to trade him away for someone like OJ Mayo.

Agree. Trade deadline is March 15th this year I believe.

I think we keep Al if we're in the playoff hunt. Otherwise, I think they'll look to move him.

Memo should be moved at first opportunity, if they can pry a first rounder/future first out of somebody.

I think everybody who wants Sap traded will be SOL. I think Sap stays unless he's part of a deal that Utah just can't refuse.

I'm hoping all of the above is true.

Over/under 10.

If we start a poll that would count as one, and then we could take the over and really cash in.
Self fulfilling prophecy.
