What's new

Exercising.

With a one-year old and a second coming in December, I really don't have that much time for friends and drinking tbh and most of mine are so consumed on weekends with their kid's soccer games that I should have an easier go at not drinking for an extended period of time. But then there's Labor Day weekend. And football get togethers. And going out to dinner Ugh. I am starting next Sunday and am gonna take it a day at a time, then a week at a time, like that. If I can get one good month in me, I think I can get a couple more.

Why did Jazzta like this over three years later?

I’ve been pretty solid the last 10 months. Went from about 215 down to a low of 186.8 over the summer. Then too many get togethers and crap food and alcohol and I gained some back. Plus I’ve continued my lifting. Taking it slowly some and only about 9-12 sets per session which isn’t much. At about 193 now which is pretty good since I’ve continued lifting, stopped cardio (my ****ing plantar), and cheated in the summer a lot. Friday’s, Sunday’s and one other work day are my lifting days which makes it tolerable. Been doing a little more core too day by day. But listening to my body really well so as to prevent injury. Honestly I just try to eat as healthy as I can during the morning and day and semicount calories. Eat less if I want to lose weight. Like that. It’s not too tough.

By nature I burn a lot of calories with low effort, always have. I do exercise though because it helps clear my mind and feel more energetic.

Try Altra shoes for the plantar. They helped mine a ton and I love the shoes regardless. Only shoes I buy anymore

I also bought a pair of weird *** plantar slippers that supposedly hurt like ****ing crazy to wear. But then you take them off and feel amazing. Haven’t tried them yet. I’m too scared.

I'm sitting at around 300 pounds, which isn't a terrible weight for me, I'm more or less built like a defensive linesman so i'm never going to be under 220 pounds unless I'm dead. I'm aiming to get down to 250, could maybe get to 235 over an extended period. I train most days, cardio and weights and i'm fairly fit for a bloke 60 pounds over weight. Beer is my biggest problem, I can drink fields of barley and it just stacks on the weight.

As i'm getting older muscle soreness is an issue like its never been before, I'm even thinking about doing something like yoga. I take supplements and **** but most days i wake up stiff. (write your own jokes lads...)

I have some plantar sneakers. Forget what kind. Adidas ones.
Another thing that helped me was a nighttime boot. Though it was not comfortable to sleep in. I got used to it over time. Also inserts helped me.

I remember a lot of people giving Favors **** for sitting out with plantar faciitis. People forget these are real human beings dealing with this kinda stuff in their 20s.

Best thing to do apparently is to jump off a table and snap it, it will then start to heal quickly. Supposedly im no expert tho...
