Lol dumbfks passed on this guy, hard to believe really. He is a star in the making.
there are two things though. He has some fundamental flaws with his technique, particularly shooting mechanics. I listened to his Australian coach and he
looked pretty clueless to me. Perhaps Dante needs to relearn certain things. Second he needs to get stronger. With his style of play he will get fouled hard often. Follow Hayward's program, it works obv lol

i dont know if anyone realize but burks and exum cant fit in same team. they got quite similar skills and wont be complementing eachother in long run.

I would have to disagree on this one. Exum has elite vision and almost always look to pass first almost to a fault. Burks on the other hand looks to score first, it's almost like he's got tunnel vision at times. The only thing they have in common is they're not consistent knock down shooters yet.

If Burks can learn how to move without the ball a bit better (the way Wade does it), then I think Exum will find him for some easy baskets. They could complement each other pretty well in that respect.

I agree. I think the Jazz could have an original punch on the defense. How often to you have a team with 2 guards that can handle the ball and pass like a point guard but shoot like a shooting guard? Not to mention one is under a rookie contract and comes cheap.

Chad Ford had some nice things to say about Exum in his chat today (I'm not Rick from Utah BTW):

Rick (Utah)

Which rookie has surprised the most? Disappointed the most?

Chad Ford (1:15 PM)

Dante Exum has been surprisingly good coming off the bench for Utah. I thought he had the biggest developmental curve. But I actually think he's outplayed Trey Burke so far this season. As we noted before the draft, Burke doesn't have the explosion to really blow by defenders. It means he ends up taking a lot of jump shots. Exum has elite physical gifts. I think it's only a matter of time before he's their guy. He has the most raw talent of anyone on the team. It's probably too early to be disappointed in anyone, but Nik Stauskas has been awful so far.

sepanol is just pointing out an objective view of his, while some of you guys are just canalizing it into bashing more of that Kanter-boy who is only a young player trying to break his mental wall, get used to the game more and get more consistent. If you are about being objective, talk about players' upsides and downsides both whenever they occur. Otherwise it shows up badly.
