What's new

Family Feud

If my wife makes me go to a party and ignores me, it's game over.

By game over you mean you suffer through it, give her the silent treatment on the ride home, and then wake up the next morning pretending to be over it. Right?

Until the next time she tries to take me to a party. Then I break out the "remember last time" argument.

If you don't want to be there, I'd think it's better if she ignores you, so you can just pretend you're not there.
My husband has always hated it if I try to make him engage in conversation at a party when he doesn't want to be there in the first place. We're better off if I ignore him. He'll find a spot to sit down and pick up a newspaper or magazine or whatever is handy and try to make himself invisible.

Honest question: why bother? If he doesn't to be there and you ignore him, why take him?
