I also wasn't giving Sabonis enough credit. But drafting him in the 3rd is still a hell of a reach.

This was a coin flip for me & MJ won. Him, Barkley, & Manu as a sub put it over the top. I also gave the edge to Glen Rice + Mullins over Pierce, & don't give Barry credit for being able to compete with NCAA teams today.

So you're pro-MJ, overrating the hell out of Ginobili, and favor modern players. Got it.

My criticism of Sabonis is that he can't run. The one player he can keep up with, however, is probably Mark Eaton. Nightmare has a better front court. I'm not a fan of Barkley going up against big, skilled players, and Camby isn't going to do too much to Kareem. I like Pierce over Rice and Jordan over Cooper, so I guess that's the difference.

Both teams have several of my favorite all time players, so its hard to vote against either team.
I said before the picks started that I assumed Sabonis ought to be evaluated based on his NBA career only.
I voted nightmare, all though I am second guessing myself as I write this, but too late, the vote is made, and it is moot anyway.
