What's new

Favors and Kanter need to switch positions

Who steps away for the shot leaving the other down low, one-on-one?
Who holds off the opposing scorer while the other gets in help position?

And they are completely restricted from doing one or the other just based on having a position title of center or power forward????????? Really?

I think that Kanter is so much worse on Pick and Roll D than Favors. And the difference in Post D isn't as bad. So Favors should take the biggest Pick and Roll threat most nights.

Good hell. I can't believe this is getting any burn at all. Kanter finally gets comfortable on the left block and you want to throw him on the right instead? Or is it that if you think they switch the guy they're guarding then the opponents won't just reverse the way their bigs attack as well?

So you don't believe in making players well-rounded? Thank God you're not the coach.

They just need to analyze their personal strengths and weaknesses and make better decisions on the basketball court. They will learn.
Seriously think it has nothing to do with being called a "power forward" or "center." They just need to know the gameplan and execute.

I don't think God cares.

I don't think it's time to expand Kanter's game just yet. Let's see how he does on the left for a few games and hope he can perfect a few things, and Favors on the right.

Besides, I have seen Kanter play the high right post too.
