Here it is. Pick one and only one. No sissy "I can't make up my mind" or "but I want both" options. If you had to choose and keep just one, which one?
 
Gobert. I love Favors, and I don't think Gobert will quite get to his level offensively...but Gobert has serious "in the conversation for best big man ever on the defensive end" potential.
 
Depends on who I'm moving him for.

Westbrook? I'd move Favors.
Davis? I'd move Gobert.

Gobert and Davis are a front court for the ages. Favor and Davis are not. That is why I chose Gobert.

I dunno. Let's say that Davis is 90% the defensive player Gobert is. But his offense is a million times better than Gobert's. I'd argue that Favors' defense is a lot better than Gobert's offense, so Favors is a much more rounded player.

Davis and Gobert = best defense in NBA, 8-10 offense in the NBA.
Davis and Favors = top 3 defense in the NBA, top 5 offense in the NBA.
 
I really like Derrick. Hope he becomes the 2nd best PF in the history of the Jazz, But Rudy is special. He changes games. He makes opponents alter their shooting and stay outside of the paint. When Rudy is in the game, teams generally don't attack. He's already in conversation for DPOY. Add an average offensive game and he could someday get some MVP votes if Utah wins 55+.
 
Due to the obvious upside, I'd have to say Gobert. But I'm sure glad I we don't have to choose. Love both of them.
 
I knew I'd be in the minority but I chose Favors. I think it's too early with Gobert. He needs to prove this with teams being able to adjust for a longer period of time. I think Favors is the better overall player right now but I'm not sure he will stay that way. I love them both on this team though and I'm happy they don't have to choose.
 
Dis is dummm... I choose both and no one can tell me I can't.
