Well now you know and knowing is half the battle.
And the other half is not caring.

NO!!! The third person thing drives me nuts! Favors doesn't have the attitude to pull it off. If anybody refers to himself in the third person on our team it should be Enes Kanter. His interviews are always hilarious.
That would be too funny.
"First of all, Kanter is a good post player, but Kanter is working on Kanter's face up game."

We can't drop the ball here. We made our bed here. We have basically hitched ourselves to the Favors wagon when we traded Deron away. So, they just have to stick him out there and hope for the best. We can't keep saying he is too young and not ready.
If the Jazz FO don't give Favors extended minutes this season and tries to be "cheap" during contract talk then we can all kiss our savior out of the Deron Williams fiasco GOODBYE
Are Malone and Favors in Utah right now?
I haven't seen anything, but that offhand remark in the online chat that Favors would be willing to work with Malone. It sounded like he thought it was cool, but not that something was planned or even talked about.
Damn straight. Unless Favors just stinks up the joint I'll be on the fire Corbin bandwagon if he's not getting 32-35 minutes a game.We made our bed here. Further evidence Favors prefers the PF position over playing C... If he develops anything close to Malone's outside game, look out... And all that extra work should improve his stamina, which has been an issue too...
I don't think this would be a problem, I mean other then avoiding the occasional ruined pie or flute he has what 60lbs and 10" over Jason Biggs, now Roger Braille on the other hand should be worried about Biggs. If he tries to split the minutes between the Biggs the same as last year, then we have something to worry about.
Offensivey, yes, a very similar skill set. BUT, It takes very different physical ability to guard the likes of Howard or Bynum than it does Dirk Nowitzki or Pau Gasol. When Millsap was at SF, it was FAVORS who ran out to defend the opposing SF instead of Millsap, who was too slow to react. Favors is far more capable of defending the PF position than taking on the Bynum's and Howard's of the NBA, the serious BIGs, by mostly staying rooted in the paint in a wrestling match. Favors' strength is his mobility, not his physical strength...it's evidence that he wants to become a better NBA big man. the skill set to play center and the skill set to play PF are essentially the same ones, especially in a jazz system where there is very little difference.
or maybe you missed all the favors quotes where he has said, "i just want to play."

And Kanter is the opposite. Strength and not his quickness is his strength. Man I hope to see Kanter make some really solid strides this year. Him and Favors could be lethal in the post.
I agree with this. Also, if Kanter really does have a reliable outside shot then they just became that much better. I too really hope that Kanter is able to shake the jitters and play at a higher level this season. Hopefully he will get close to about 20 minutes a game for that to happen.
So if Kanter gets 20 mins, who gets less minutes then?
