Milllsap will start tonight. I actually hope though he and Jefferson dont play too much. I would like to see Kanter and Favors play alot togethor. Hoping they both get 30 + minutes tonight.

Its going to be tough for any team in the paint with Favors and Kanter down low.

Since Sap is in town, I expect Ty to hold Al back this game. Preseason mind, added to Al's fatigue level and he has also suffered a little pinch in his ankle during the Warriors game, so.

After listening to David Locke's podcast (10/16), i truly believe the we gotta trade Paul. He states how Al just wants to win & make people happy. Paul plays to win but more with a chip on his shoulder & something to prove. I just see Al as being a great locker room guy (ie, like how he got Kanter out of his shell) & even tho Paul is a great "leader by example," I dont think he will accept being our 3rd big (or willing to come off the bench).

IMO, i think Al/Derrick > Derrick/Paul & i do feel that Enes is ready to be our 3rd big.

So the Cavs have 3 1st rounders this year, why dont we see if they are interested in Paul for a 1st & Walton (cap consideration)? I know they drafted Thompson but he is like Enes, he seems ideal for their 3rd big until he develops...

You're either very smart... or incredibly stupid.
Are you prepared for the onslaught that this post will bring?

I don't disagree, and the addition of Marvin, who can slide up to play a small 4 for matchup purposes, makes Milsap very tradeable. If that is the direction the Jazz want to go.

Counting their own pick the Cavs have 4 2013 1st rounders.

I think two of those picks (their own and Sacramento's) are the ones the Cavs wouldn't give up for anything other than a proven star, in spite of the protections on the Sacramento pick. The other two picks are Miami's and the Lakers', which are presumably going to be very late in the first round. Given that the pick wouldn't be very good and my disdain for Luke Walton, I'd rather see Millsap walk for nothing and help the Jazz this year than trade with Cleveland (unless Cleveland was willing to deal their own or Sacramento's pick). Other deals could present themselves during the season, although I really want to see Millsap stay with the Jazz.

I thing Marvin Williams could cause the jazz to trade sap. I am all for the better deal when it comes picking either Al or Sap. What ever one we sign for cheaper being that both players have their flaws. Sap is more replaceable and while Jefferson has his flaws as well, he also the only one on the team that commands a double team. I would rather keep size when it is all said and done.

i'd agree and would rep you but i have given it all away... sorry. i think this has been beaten itno the ground again. and again.. numbers have shown where the best winning percentage is when players are on the court... jazz have shown they can win without al.. other players will step up it just the way basketball works. honestly though. i think we defintally need to wait untill we get closer to allstar break before we decide we need to trade players. i am still interested to see if Ty can make it work. and i am still waiting to see favors can constantly and consistantly step up ever night ever game. "personal opinion" some of you might think he has already proven it.
