Agree... limit the minutes... sit him on one night of the back to back. Maybe give him a couple games off 5-6 weeks prior to the post season.

Gonna be a Niangphoon game... every time I'm ready to give up on him he has a good game. I'm ready to go a different direction which means he's due.

How is that nitpicking? I think your entire strategy is bad. I'm not nitpicking aspects of it. The whole thing is bad. He sits until he is ready to come back, then he comes back. You play him. The Jazz arent some super-team that has been together for 3+ years. Conley/Gobert need all the reps they can get so the team can continue to grow stronger.

And forfeiting the 1-seed? Yeah, let's not force the LA's to play each other in the 2nd round. Great idea. /sarcasm.
 
Milwaukee is a very stubborn team defensively. I feel like they should be so much more versatile defensively than they are.

Their approach is, despite an open above the break 3 being a good shot, opponents aren't gonna take them every time, and they can live with a 35 percent shooter from that spot shooting them. They concede it so that they can better protect the rim, and to a much lesser extent, the corner 3. Where they run into trouble is when a team has a surplus of good shooters and is like "Okay we will take and hit them all game."
 
Big game for the Jazz because it is against a contender. If Jazz shoot well they usually win so here is hoping they shoot well. Jazz never rush back their players but instead of having Conley or anyone sit out for 5 or 6 games perhaps Quinn needs to manage the minutes better especially in blowouts. It doesn't hurt if you play Oni a few more minutes so Conley can get some rest and the same with playing either Niang or Morgan some of Derricks minutes so he is well rested. I am ok with sitting a guy a game especially on back to backs but sitting a player who isn't hurt for 5 or 6 six games seems an anti-winning situation.
 
It was reported that Conley went through portions of pratice. I don't think he plays tomorrow, but i can see him returning to the LA trip against the Clippers, if not against the Sixers (tho that may be still too early)
 
Bucks are 7-7 on the road so I expect us to win. Giannis is playing great so I hope Favors is feeling good as I expect him to play 20+ minutes as Bogey can't begin to contain GA.
 
Exchanging Conley for Holiday makes it more fair. Still afraid of a double D explosion, though.
 
The Jazz have not lost a home game to the Milwaukee Buck since 2001. Just under 20 years.

John and Karl were on that team. Ray Allen and Big Dog Robinson were manning the Bucks.

On the Bucks board they are all "Hurrrr Durrrrr, Giannis completely OWNZZZ Gobert!!!!"

This is pretty much a must win.

I believe the math is if you shoot better than 42.5% against Milwaukee from 3, you win. If you do not, you lose.

Jazz shoot 40.2 on average with most teams attempting to defend the 3. . . If the Jazz shoot their average on open catch and shoots, they should win this game.
 
I this is a good opportunity for us to see how well we can do ish without Mike. See how well certain guys step up, pick each other up, etc. Sort of as a challenge.

I'm ready now. I'd like to see what Brantley could do with those minutes... He is well liked though. Don't want to ruin good chemistry.
