Cry a little harder, Luka.
Man that was bad. You are talking about the one when he was making a pass right? So bad.All that comes to mind is Luka's embarrassing flop in the 2nd quarter that the refs inexplicably fell for.
Cry a little harder, Luka.
I hated the play where the jazz had a 3 on fast break and Clarkson jacked up a three. Then Thurl tried to say that it was the right play. No it wasn't. Maybe if it was Donovan or Bogey but clarkson is not a good three point shooter. And even if it were donovan or bogey its still a poor decision. If you have an easy layup you always take it. Layup/dunk is still the best shot in basketball.
Only someone who is around a 40% 3 point shooter should even consider passing up an easy layup in transition for an on the run off the dribble pull up three. Clarkson isn't close to 40% and never has been close in his entire career. He simply isn't a good 3 point shooter.
I'm gonna pay homage to Sloan and say that Clarkson is a great 3 pt shooter, but we need a great 3 pt maker.I hated the play where the jazz had a 3 on fast break and Clarkson jacked up a three. Not sure he said it was a good shot, I thought Thurl said the jazz like to take those types of shots on a turnover fast break, but he also could’ve thought it was a good shot, I didn’t just like you didn’t.I hated the play where the jazz had a 3 on fast break and Clarkson jacked up a three. Dayam! Nice one! The French Stickler was fun while it lastedRUDY GOATBERT
Man that's awesome. So cool that you were there. I love those moments with opposing fans when you can jaw back and forth all game but still shake it out after the buzzer. Good stuff man.The game was phenomenal I was there in person. Lower bowl. Don played like a boss. Doncic did great too but we won. Wish I could post some video of me haggling mavs fans. Shook hands after the game. Close game but great. Hope we face them in the playoffs. Great game. Yeah. Go jazz! **** yeah!

To reiterate, those two penetration assists to Rudy down the stretch were huge for us! One bounce pass, the other an oop. Nobody gets the big guy involved like Conley does.Don’t forget Conley setting the table!
Against forwards, sure. I would not do that with a Curry/Kyrie/Booker type thoI’ve said that the way to counter people going small is to let Rudy guard the perimeter. This gives pause because the open lane with four other porous guys, but I’m not talking about putting Rudy on the perimeter to guard “his guy,” which is some offensively-limited guy who can punish only by hitting open shots. You have to get more bang for your buck on the trade off of pulling him out of the paint and you need to give him the Ben Simmons perimeter role. Otherwise you’re either just 1) putting him in no man’s land like LAC series and letting them exploit or you’re 2) wasting him if he’s pulled out of the paint and not put on a legitimate offensive threat.
I was so mad. Pull-up three ain’t the worst idea but they had one guy back and if he drives they get a layup… or he could get a spot up three.I hated the play where the jazz had a 3 on fast break and Clarkson jacked up a three. I propose we change his nickname from the “flamethrower” to “the lighter that works sometimes because it got wet but when it works it’s kind of surprising and exciting”.I'm gonna pay homage to Sloan and say that Clarkson is a great 3 pt shooter, but we need a great 3 pt maker.
No it has been made pretty clear that the Jazz hierarchy of scoring is transition threes, then early in the shot clock threes, then corner threes, then contested threes, then iso threes, then last second threes, then layups, then free throws, then put-back layups or dunks, then long heave threes for no reason, then Rudy lobs.I was so mad. Pull-up three ain’t the worst idea but they had one guy back and if he drives they get a layup… or he could get a spot up three.
Threes are good but the hierarchy of scoring is free throws, layups, then threes… jc passed up 1 and 2 for no reason there.
If I recall well we were down some points at that moment which makes it even more irritating. If we are up 10, have confidence and momentum than ok but if you're down just go for easy points.I hated the play where the jazz had a 3 on fast break and Clarkson jacked up a three.
