I’m so glad we ended up getting Markkanen out of all of the potential trades that were out there and discussed. We wouldn’t be far off from how bad the Spurs are if we didn’t have him.

The Mitchell for Markkanen trade literally made us better this season.

Big up to coach H. He is the big reason this team has no quits. he finds counter-moves to opposing coaches game plans so we come back to games. Each one in this team has full trust on him and it SHOWS. One of the most fun basketball temms i have seen outside of movies.

Kris Dunn has found his home. Whether he can make a late improvement for his jumper or not - under this good developmental staff ohe can contribute. Team can use his heart and hustle. I loved him in the Bulls but after that bad landing on his face and Jim ****ing Bolen he lost something from his aggresiveness in the offensive end. If there is a team in the NBA that can get the best out of him - it is this team.

Also Lauri... 27 points and 3-7 from downtown after a horrible first half. I do not know why I even doubted it but I think I should never again - not under this coach and how he has been in the SLC this season. He just finds his way to make at least half of his shots in the end and score 20 or more. I will never doubt again. At last he got another 40% shooting from downtown. I wish this means the ending of that cold stretch.

Hard to see him ever averaging 20 unless he takes a significant shooting leap. He's got great touch around the rim, but isn't physical/athletic enough to draw fouls.

Hard to believe Lauri is allstar.
So far he's played like some freaking g-league clown.
Totally sleepwalking ghost compared to that what he has showed earlier this season.
Of course the Pope has said Spurs defenders to guard Lauri extremely hard and shutdown his scoring and so far that worked very well for Spurs.

But still you should demand more than this ( 7 points 1 assist) from your allstar if you wanna win the game.
Coach Hardy should be now etremely livid and infurious of Jazz team effort and overall game.
I looks that Lauri made allstar game just because the game was in Utah.

Funny thing is Lauri is more than entitled to a bad game at this point, he just refuses to have it.

Lauri had just 7 points at halftime and it looked like he was on his way to having one of his worst games in a Jazz uniform...he ended up with 27 points on just 17 shots, including 14 points in the 4th quarter. He's a special player.

I had to watch with the volume off and half paying attention to some “guests” we had but kept thinking as Dunn did good things that you must be furious.
