Well, at least the locker rooms are. Even with the 4 million dollar upgrade, they aren't going to be any where near as cool as the Mavericks locker room.

SALT LAKE CITY — If things pan out as the Utah Jazz are banking on, fans will have a better game experience at EnergySolutions Arena next season.

The team is paying big bucks this offseason to ensure that its players will as well.

The Jazz are investing $4-plus million to expand the home team locker room and to make other changes and upgrades to the ESA, Jazz president Randy Rigby revealed Tuesday. The improvements to the arena, he said, will serve its team well while also enhancing both dining and merchandise "opportunities" for fans.

"This building is now 19 years old, and it's time we do some improvements on it," Rigby said Tuesday morning after unveiling the Jazz's new colors and logo.

The new locker room will be larger and will have increased locker space to more comfortably fit between 13-15 NBA players. Rigby said it will be "more reflective of what coaches, training staff and players need in a locker room."

Rigby is personally excited for one new "important" addition: an empty display case that he hopes will eventually hold the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy. It's his dream that Jazz players will see the reserved space in the locker room and say, "I want to be a part of bringing that trophy into the Utah Jazz history."

Remember that time a few months ago when people thought I was crazy for saying he wouldn't get a mid-level deal?

even after finishing the playoffs with more rebounds and points than fouls (barely, 39-33-30) and all of 5 blocks in 10 games (with only three times as many TOs)?

don't you think other teams will note his improved free throw shooting, after seeing him hit those two 4th quarter attempts versus the Nuggets (nevermind the 5-19 he shot the rest of the playoffs)?
