Hernandez could always make a living as a movie extra who gets executed by firing squad .. seriously farcical.
They should video review diving and hand out red cards.
And our guy being brought down from behind with no play on the ball .. should be red.
 
Um.. most commentators and experts agreed that was a foul in the penalty box and France's penalty was more than justified. His foot was clearly clipped by the defender's.

The review system also worked wonderfully.

To cry about it makes you look kinda petty.

I mean, we are pretty good. Last time we lost (before today) was in 2016 against Brazil, and thats playing in the toughest world qualifying tournament. The last few weeks we beat pretty easily Croatia, Iceland, Saudi Arabia and other world cup teams. We should have won against Denmark. Now we need to at least tie against France.

I’m ok with petty

Wasn’t a clear penalty. He couldn’t have gotten to that ball, it was away from him so the foot clip is irrelevant

wut? Goal differential has been used like in forever. For France 98 Chile qualified ahead of Peru for goal differential (2 goals). This qualifying tournament it was Chile's turn. Peru has been playing much better football the last year and half (undefeated since 2016). Although Chile have amazing talent and lots of stars, they have also lacked discipline and became one of the most irregular/head-scratching teams in South America's qualifying tournament.

On the broadcast I watched there was the ref that ref'd last World Cup's finals and even he agreed it was a penalty.
