Denmark was good: well-coached, very organized, knew their limitations. One of the best defenses in the WC so far. But they were very limited offensively and made the games ugly to fit their play style. Never took chances, almost playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Eriksen was a shadow of himself. I mean, good for them for qualifying to this round but it was a brand of football which was hard to root for. Croatia on the other hand is a very good team (not great) and at least they try. They deserved to win this match.

For entertainment purposes I wish Australia or Peru had qualified instead. Peru is an offensive minded team and kicked Croatia's *** before the WC. Would've been a fun game.

With almost all favorites losing, Brazil's path to the title is getting easier. We'll probably play Belgium next, let's see how they do it against Japan.
 
Nagatomo and Inui has been brilliant. This japan team is low key talented.
 
These corner kicks and crosses are dangerous for Japan.


Keisuke Honda is in, he had assisted or scored 7 goals of last 10.
 
Rookie mistake by Japan. No need to be that crowded during the corner.
