I told you!!! They should have been more conservative. Do anything to go through instead of pleasing the crowd.
lol so... when they are down 0-1 they only play defense and when they are up 2-0 they only play offense. lmao
Don't you feel a little bit responsible that they lost?! Maybe the coach read your post the other day and it had an impact on the strategy?????
Hope England wins. They finally have some decent team you can support.
Denmark was good: well-coached, very organized, knew their limitations. One of the best defenses in the WC so far. But they were very limited offensively and made the games ugly to fit their play style. Never took chances, almost playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Eriksen was a shadow of himself. I mean, good for them for qualifying to this round but it was a brand of football which was hard to root for. Croatia on the other hand is a very good team (not great) and at least they try. They deserved to win this match.
I'm wondering if England will choke. They are the better team now but historically they underachieve and meltdown in big moments. Colombia not looking good so far.
Not agreeing with you here. Denmark played much better in second half then Croatia and deserved to win it way more than Croatians ( they did great in group games but were mostly playing like crap vs Denmark)... I was disappointed Hareide played Cornelius instead of Sisto, Sisto can create and make goal situations out of nowhere like vs Ireland in qualifiers, so despite not playing very well in tournament I would still play him just for that reason - all it takes is one moment.... Cornelius is just a big body upfront who sometimes may score a header or finish a decent cross and he was mostly invisible.
I agree that Eriksen did not have a good tournament... spending most of the time 3 weeks before the tourney with pregnant wife and rejoining teams training camp right after birth of his first son left him emotionally drained and not 100% focused on football I guess.
I will cheer for Croatians to eliminate Russia for sure though... what Russia showed vs Spain is an anti football and it needs to be eliminated.
