It is for sure a factor. The bubble stuff did turn plenty of people off. It’s a lot of things though, but that’s a factor. It hasn’t really impacted things locally though. Jazz local ratings are the 2nd highest in the league and the highest they’ve ever been. Nationally it did hurt the league, they’ve turned the social justice stuff down quite a bit since the bubble, it’ll be interesting to see how long that lasts with those who actually don’t watch it because of that.My idiot brother was a die hard Jazz fan and basketball fan his whole life, he now refuses to watch because of how "woke" the NBA has become. I have a few co-workers who feel the same way. Hate to say it but I think that may be part of the reason for the ratings decline.
