Finish this sentence: If the Jazz FO re-signs Al, I will...

Man that KOC sucks. He has so much to work with yet he does nothing. If I had his position I'd really get things done.

I would have to find a new team to root for, no joke.

As the last two seasons have gone on I have taken breaks but overall followed the team closely because I knew that Al's contract was coming off the books or we were trading him.

If we go and extend him ill just end the self-torture of following this team and just pick a team committed to winning rings and not a treadmill team that is content with mediocrity.

I stick to my prediction that Al will not be re-signed. I think the org knows that it wouldn't be the right decision and I think they know he's not the winner we want him to be. I think they've been trying to trade him but teams don't see him as valuable in a trade so they aren't willing to give assets for him. I bet they actually wanted to give us longer contracts in change for him.

We will see but I think he's gone.

Disappointed that we were conservative and couldn't sign a more appropriate piece.

A guy like Tyreke Evans is high-risk/high-reward.

*AK max deal
*Extending Okur a year before they had to
*Trading for Marvin

Must I go on?
I'll give you Okur, but pretty much all teams overpay players at some point. Jazz took a gamble and it didn't pay off with AK. As for trading for Marvin...yeah it hasn't worked out great but we didn't exactly give up a lot for him either.

Become a Lakers, Clippers, or Heat fan.

Basically, I already am.

The lakers? Kobe is a rockstar. He can be a punk but like all the great ones, comes to the game ready for war. Something that I seriously miss badly ever since Stockton and Malone retired. So many of our players take nights off. In fact, rarely have I seen our guys "leave it out there on the court." Boozer, Al Jefferson, AK, Marvin, were probably the laziest sacks of garbage I've ever seen. Kobe? Has all the excuses in the world to junk this season. Yet, he keeps busting his *** all while the clowns around him fake injuries.

Clippers? Because they're hellafun to watch.

Heat? Because they actually back up all their talk. Should have beaten the Mavs (but Lebron wore down and Dirk went crazy). Beat down the Thunder. And are now just cruising through the NBA in cruise control. Amazing.

I'd love to cheer for the Spurs. They play the way this game should be played. Everyone plays hard, plays d, and can score. They're just too old so I don't see them competing for a championship.

Seriously, if the Jazz weren't the only pro team in town, who'd watch their crap? Boring as hell (Big Al pumpfakes 20 times and then chucks something up as the shot clock expires. yawn), rarely exciting (until the bench comes in. Then things usually pick up), starters are lazy, poorly coached, and arrogantly managed.

^^^
Worst kind of fan ever, right here. "My team isn't very good, so I'll go root for a title contender. Then give a bunch of reasons why, besides the fact that they are title contenders. Because that is definitely not the reason I would cheer for them." you won't be missed.

I've heard this a billion times.

The Jazz took a chance and it didn't pay off. It was worth a shot. Blah blah blah

How about taking a shot at an obvious star? Like Harden. Or Bledsoe. Instead of picking up lazy *** suck face players like Bell, Jefferson, and Marvin. Or how about taking a shot at the first overrall pick, instead of recycling the trash? Thats all. A swing for the fences would be nice. The closest they have ever come to doing that is when they traded up to get Deron. And wouldnt ya know? It paid off. Sort of. Its all about trying to take the safest route around here when the only path to a championship, is a gutsy one or a lucky one. Fans around here are just tired of waiting for the lucky one.

We all like the Jazz and as fans we want to support them.

It's just the coaching and management we hate.

We want them changed and some new faces and new opinions.

Lindsey is KOC 2.O: Lindsey has exactly the same voice, too. He uses the word 'again' often like KOC did. Lindsey does what KOC wants him to do. They also have the same fluidity when they speak.

Corbin is Sloan 2.0: Corbin is just more stupid and not charismatic and respected. But he also would start Borchardt, Palacio and McLeod over D-Will and Okur (two All-Stars).

I just want guys that have the balls to risk something in order to achieve something special. I dislike the Jazz for having this type of a GM and coach.

We deserve better, imo. We simply never get better as a team. Look at the last two trades: Mo and Ma Williams are not important pieces to this team. We would not be a worse team without them. But when we got them, the front office was spreading excitemend around as if the Jazz got Lebron. They only do trades when they are forced to do. They would rather always keep the same players.

I just think that a team like the Jazz deserves a better face representing them. I want them to be open to criticizm and sometimes be tough.

I hate the Organization for always hiding the truth and always talking positive things even when things don't work well. Basketball is not just about family, it's a business. Be hard sometimes and try to get a top team. We have all the young pieces and trade assets to become contenders in two years. While we are in a great position, the management tries to avoid changes and risks even when the reward seems very high. I really doubt that the Jazz are serious about improving and becoming a top team.

They always praise the mediocrity and kind of are blind when it comes to the truth. I hate it. Be agressive and try to do some moves. It's pretty obvious that we have one of the worst backcourts in the NBA and that Jefferson and Millsap can't coexist.

Whatever. The NBA doesn't exist in a fantasy world. The Jazz have taken plenty of chances which in part led to pretty much zero rebuilding time after the departure of Deron and Sloan. Do I agree with every mve they make? No, but I think they do pretty darn well with the hand they are dealt. No, the Jazz FO isn't perfect and they've ****ed up but I'm sure as hell glad they aren't as short sighted as some of our fans. Goodness gracious. Go root for a FO with balls like the Blazers.

Bledsoe is evey bit as much of a risk as some of the other. Especially if your giving up something for him.

What's so bad about rebuilding time? After Stockton left, we had a rebuilding year and got Deron. Would you rather bad a decent year (8th pick) but no Deron?

We are in the worst possible place right now. Stuck in the middle.

So, lets say we get rid of Al, turn the team over to Favors, Kanter, Hayward and Burks and worst case scenario happens and we end up with a top 5 pick and get another elite pg. Why is that bad?

Plus, I don't think we end up with a top 5 pick if we dump Al. I think we end up with a better record.

Probably be done with the NBA. I have only watched two games from start to finish this year, last night's game being one of them. What would be the point. We would be the new age Clippers...just out to maximize profit.

How many Jazz games have you seen in total? Because from what your posts seem to be saying, I would bet that it isn't very many at all.

I would give you some rep if I could but your post is right on. Many Jazz fans are simply happy making the playoffs and wear the playoff streak as some badge of honor.

Haha. Yep. I tried to rep you.

Torbin is right. We'll all be back.

Ill just continue to do what I do now, and not buy tickets to any games. If its free then who cares really. Ill probably get bored and watch less games too. I'm just becoming more of a casual fan. I don't pay as much attention to the games as I used to. I'm not as into it as I used to be. I usually only pay attention when the reserves are in.

I won't be back. Why you ask? Because I won't leave.

Reality is that the Jazz are more than likely going to sign either Big Al or Sap. I'd prefer Sap but I think we all realize it will end up Big Al.
