i hope Kanter and burks will come off the bench and let me tell you why

1. biedrins must resurrect his career for a good contract next year and then to suck another 5 years
2. rj should get a good contract next year and needs playing time
3. i need to hate someone during the season

This is Richard Jefferson's last season of his career.

FACT.

Gonna be and should be are 2 different things. It is gonna be Biedrins. It should be Gobert.

Unless Biedrins is starting, in which case it should be Favors/Kanter, but it is gonna be Jefferson (out of position) in that case.

Unless Biedrins and Jefferson (out of position) are both starting, in which case it should be Favors.

Don't discount that last one. It could, and probably will, happen.

I think the organization has shown quite a bit of faith and support for Gobert: buying the pick, making no mistake about bringing him over right away, giving high praise consistently, etc. I think he's gonna get his shot. From day 1? That's the question.

Evans is also gonna get his.

One of the big projects this year is evaluating the youth from their spots in the drivers' seats. I don't think they'll mix messages by bumping the roles of Biedrins and RJ.

Man I hope so. That is the whole point of this season. If the Jazz shoot themselves in the foot now it is going to suck. Hard.

Thing is that Gobert is a center only while Biendrins is a combo PF/C, so his versatility is there. Don't forget that he has been a double double guy is his career, and while he has been terrible lately, age wise he isn't out of his prime. Don't get me wrong, I really like Gobert, but since i am one of four Jazz fans on this board that want the team to win, a motivated Biendrins gives the Jazz the best chance to.

The young uns need experience, they need pt. If Corbin ever subs them out then he has failed with the vision and future of this franchise. I will boycott for his immediate dismissal

The only way Gobert should receive consistent minutes is if he blows us away with his preseason. I want him to sit watch and learn for a year. He's very raw and inexperienced. I don't want him to pick up bad habbits of lose confidence due to bad play as a rookie as raw as he is.

Open mind....

"You realize you can develop young talent by still coming off the bench right?"

No, that thought never crossed my mind, Sherlock. I think you might be a tad obsessed with who is in the game at tipoff and not so worried about who gets "starter's minutes" I believe Kanter will get starter's minutes and you have heard what the front office has said about this (dennis has said this directly with his 2-3X minutes statement, which takes Kanter to 31-40+ minutes). I guess it is possible that Dennis is misleading us or cannot control Corbin, but I tend to believe that he has his hand on the Jazz joystick.

"Again I reiterate we have a coach who thought veteran presence was the catalyst to a victory in a game where Kanter drops 23 and 22 and the vets sucked."

I understand your logic: "we did it last year, therefore we will do the same thing next year." You are in apples and organges galaxy, in my opinion. Look at what the Jazz were saying last year about the coming season a year ago and compare it to what they are saying now. Then open your mind to the possibility that the Jazz universe has changed.

You are trying way too hard to analyze what I've been saying. All I'm saying is based on what I've seen the past few years I would not be surprised to see kanter come off the bench and also still only end up with only 25 ish MPG. I hope that's not the case but I need to be proven otherwise, which I hope is what happens.

If the jazz felt the same way, they would have left him in France for a year. They didn't. In fact, they paid $3 mill for his pick and have been enthusiastic from the start. He's gonna get some burn.

You're getting abused by categories (PF and C). Kanter and Favors can play both positions. Gobert isn't gonna get abused if he switches off onto a PF.

If Corbin starts BeanDress over Kanter, Ill drive down to the stadium and kick his *** myself.

Kanter is starting.

Book it

When will you guys start to learn kanter is not that great. Remis me of kusta dofus. Not there games but how much yall hype each one. Eventually yall came around to see doufu is garbage. Just like I said from day 1 thank you very much.

What did you exactly said at day 1? Was it before or after your reputation turning red? Just curious..

Seems like playing Biedrins over Gobert would be this seasons version of starting Milsap over Favors or Jefferson over Kanter. The problem is smaller but the source of the problem still remains so i guess the decision will be on Biredrins favour.

I am not trying hard to do anything, it is actually very easy to point out a possible flaw in the logic that history must repeat.
peace brother.

Not once have I said that the jazz will definitely act as they have been the past couple years. I am hopeful that Lindsey's philosophy is getting engrained into this team. All I've said is that I would not be shocked if Corbin behaved like he did last year.

You also think my philosophy is that we acted a certain way last year so that we will 100% do the same this year. Again completely untrue and I never said anything close to an absolute like that.

sorry

That is a fair point, I apologize for that. Peace brother.
