This is a sham!!! They actually have contractual language (the Rose rule) that depends on whimsical **** like this?? That's not right. Must be changed.

No. I'm saying the Derrick Rose rule being affected by these votes, makes this situation much worse, hopefully that's one of the reasons they change it.
 
The All Star game used to be entertaining, at least, but it's become pretty awful, IMO. Summer league is more gripping.

For Kanter's case, it's his cult that kept voting him. It was like a campaign. How else was he gonna be in the list with that crappy year he is having? Sure he puts up great stats per minute and is one the most effective players in PER per 48 but he definitely did not play up to the goal of becoming an All Star until now. I think his only career goal should be playing alongside a Westbrook type PG that can dish to him and chuck all the time so he can go clean up. And at this point, maybe he should have taken the Damien Lillard & the Trail Blazers sheet.
