Flynn & 2nd Pick for Bell & 3rd Pick

Who's to say he's wrong? Hayward played very well in the last few games of the season, but I'd like to see him do it over the course of a season before I declare that someone was right or wrong about him. He showed promise. Nothing more.

By no means has Hayward proven he is going to be something amazing. I will say he was very solid when he seemed to get more comfortable. I will go out on a limb and proclaim that Givony will be proven wrong on Hayward. Not really a stretch to say that.

I don't mind if these so-called "draft experts" state their opinion on someone and are wrong, but the one thing that does bother me is when they mis-"report" things. I believe it was Givony who stated that Kanter had bad knees and then when the medical testing was released he was the first to state that his knees checked out just fine. Also, he stated that Kanter was inconsistent at Stoneridge, but I've read other reports that the guy averaged 30-35 pts and 20+ rebs. Not saying Givony is wrong on that one, but someone was. This is all probably just a reflection on what our media/news are becoming. It's more speculation than stating facts.

From reading the Twolves fans they like bell but they are putting way too much into the second pick and want more then what they are going to get. With the lockout it might make the wolves do something small like that but who knows. They are not a fan of that pick at all but not sure they can get what they want for it either for it. Who is going to give up a good player on their team? I could see something like this happen but not sure the jazz would want to move up unless it is irving.

Flynn will return more to Minny than just Raja.
Jazz needed cash from NJ --I doubt they have a pile laying around.
Minny may trade the 2nd pick, but it will be for more picks.

If Im Utah Im more interested in working out a deal like this; Flynn, Johnson, Beasley & 20th pick for the 3rd, Bell, & G.S. pick. Yes Utah could probably get better players with the 3rd & G.S. pick but Utah adds a ton of dept to there weak bench. Utah could still draft Jimmer at 12 and hope Singleton falls to 20 (some drafts have him falling to Minni at 20)

Harris, Flynn, Jimmer
Johnson, Miles
Hayward, Beasley, Singleton
Millsap, Favors
Jefferson, Okur

Utahs bench would be one of the deepest in the league

And I think the Twolves do this, because they get the chance to add a vet in Bell and replace Beasly while drafting Dwill2 and Kanter. while picking up another possible lotto pick for next year.

Rubio, Ridhour
Webster, Bell
Dwill, Tolliver
Love, Kanter
Randolph, Darko

When would people realize that Bell has NO value whatsoever?

What do you mean? He's a tenacious defender with a three point shot that must be respected. He has a solid track record and the Globetrotters were undefeated with him on their roster. There are plenty of contenders looking to add a savvy vet to make a full push for a title.

While I think this is a bit rosy, I ultimately agree.

I absolutely think Bell has value in the "We can get somebody to absorb his salary for free" kind of way. There's definitely contending teams that can lured into taking on 2 years at 3 million for all the veteran leadership crap.

I would have to agree with billyshelby and I think we might be able to get a 2nder out of him. Maybe even a late 1st rounder. I wonder if a team like Boston would give up there 1st for Bell? Maybe Chicago takes another stab at a sg Jazz player and offers teh 30 pick for Bell?

How dumb do we think Minnesota is? If this works, give them Fes and we keep the 3rd pick as well.

There is zero chance for a first rounder. And the second rounder is 'future second.' The best hope is a team with a TPE. The more realistic hope is we unload him for a worthless expiring.
