Following 2016 potential draftees

Shoulda been Peter Jok shooting those late shots if it wasnt going to be Uthoff.. Poor PG play cost them the gamee

I'm just talking about how everyone who touched the ball looked scared in the last quarter of the game. Didn't look like they belonged towards the end.

Jarvis Varnado's brother, Jordon looks legit, he's a 6'6" Freshman wing for Troy. Shoots 3's well and gets steals and blocks.

Speaking of Troy, has anyone caught anything from Shawn Long this year? I remember watching him in Elrid Payton's last year and I thought he had some sleeper 2nd round potential in his future. Averaging 19.8 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist, and a steal on 58% shooting in 28 mpg so far this year.

They lost. LOL, shoulda fed Uthoff instead of being casual about it. Thank god for an 8 point spread

I am shocked, but UK staff feels very good about Bolden.
I don't even know that we need him, but that team... wow.

Fox / Monk / Hawkins
Monk / Mulder / Hawkins
Gabriel / Matthews / Willis
Bam / SKJ / Lee? / Willis
Bolden / Humphries / Wynyard

That's if we lose;
Ulis
Briscoe
Murray
Poythress
Skal
Lee?

Their gonna win big anyway.. He'll cruise to a top-18 pick in limited minutes, It's the safest bet, obviously. I think Humphries might be ready to give him a run for that starting spot though, should be interesting to see if he can keep this kind of block rate going as the season moves on.

It wouldn't be stepping on any of the other recruits toes with the way Coach Cal recruits them.. so why not??

It's been rumored there was always a UK connection because Bolden has the same mentor as Julius Randle -- ya think there's something to that?

Lee will end up in the draft IMO. Teams out there could use him. Top-40 pick right now. He has a chance to play big in some big upcoming televised games too. Starting to really look the part of an undersized NBA rim protector.

No nba talent for him. Maybe had he stayed at Wisconsin, I kidding. kind of.lol.

Kendrick Nunn one thing is holding that kid back from being a nice combo guard off someones bench in the league. He can only his left and go to his left really. If he developed his right hand he would be late first early 2nd round material.

can be a lockdown defender when he wants to. Right coach can change that.
Good shooter
nice floater and midrange game
Is just a gamer. Was number 2 guy on simeon hs behind Jabari Parker
Super athletic, You woul;dnt think he has the type of bounce he has. Kid can get up
Pretty strong already with a body that could fill out a little more.
doesn't force many shots at all. Great bball iq.
moves without ball really well

Ok I changed over to the game. Uthoff kinda broke out last season, I've been checking in on him since, he's worth seeing in my book. Obviously the best prospect on Iowa.

He's a stretch 4, with possible translatable SF skills, kinda sorta in the mold of a Kyle Singler.. He's also a legitimately seasoned, reliable college player used to being the #1 option. He's very mobile and fairly light on his feet, obviously he doesn't weigh all that much. His shooting is legit, he's got a series of fakes and stuff, he means business when he's got the ball. Not really like a rhythm player either, he's just solid..

Uthoff's got decent lateral quicks and stuff like that. 6'9" and a 6'10" wingspan -- So its the same drill as Isaac Copeland, he's kinda best served as a SF given his body type, it's not out of the question though.. Not a great passer by any stretch, he's not bad, heady player, and relatively mistake free for a high usage player. There's alot to like. He was obviously going to get on a SL team and on a preseason squad, going into this year.

He's a shot maker and his 3pt shots been better than ever so far. I'm not surprised by this result at all...

PG_AB are you at all worried about Ingram's shooting?

Not at all. his ability to shoot off the dribble is fantastic, you can't lazily defend him, he'll pull up in your face. I guess he's a bit of a rhythm shooter, thing is; he gets in rhythm quickly, and is tough to get out of rhythm. His FT shooting seems to be slightly behind schedule. He's 18 though, and gangly, I wouldn't draw a conclusion over that. His shooting motion is nice and simple and he repeats his mechanics effortlessly, he keeps great alignment and releases the ball high and quickly, I think he's got great shot selection, which certainly helps.

I think he's clearly put on some good weight since this McDonalds game too.

Are you familiar with 6'3" SG, Bruce Brown(Miami commit) in the class of 2016? He's seen as a top 40 player by many services. Nunn kinda seems like a better prospect IMO. Brown's obviously good with his off-hand. Nunn seems like few clicks more athletic though, I hope he keeps dropping 20 tbh, he'll get looks in the pros.

6'10" Raymond Spalding(UL) being ranked #79 in DX's freshman rankings is possibly even more outrageous than Devonte' Graham still being ranked #75 of the Sophomores and Chris Boucher(Oregon)/Devin Thomas(Wake Forest) being ranked #48 and #49 in the Senior rankings.

Kyle Kuzma(Utah) finally debuted in their rankings (#51 Soph).

Tacko Fall(UCF) also debuted as the #60 Freshman

They've jumped Brandon Sampson a spot over Antonio Blakeney!! Interesting

UConn's mopping OSU at home. Strong showing from Jalen Adams so far.

Kris Dunn's out with an illness but on the sidelines vs Bryant.

Nigel Hayes showing exactly why I don't have him in the 1st round vs Marquette. This years Montrezl Harrell.

Ellenson looks great. He's really, really skilled.

Haniif Cheatham was a late riser in the top-100. He's a legitimate super sleeper, it's not the first time I've mentioned him. He's 9 for 14 from 3 so far and can do a multitude of other things you'd look for in a combo guard.

Nigel Hayes with a deplorable last possession in a 1 possession contest with the game on the line.. 2 terrible hero shot attempts that weren't even close.

Ellenson will continue to trend upward if he plays like this

He has to do too much on this team, especially with how meh Koening has been. If his stock actually drops, then he is going to be a steal.

Nigel Hayes isn't a first option anywhere, no matter the competition level. That just isn't his strength and his FG% is suffering. He is still getting to the line a ton, which has surprised me, and getting his teammates involved. My opinion really hasn't changed on him. This is probably good experience for him in the long run having an offense run through him, but it's not his strength to be a team's best facilitator and scorer.

Nigel Hayes is a glue guy, role player. Offense running thru him is not his game. Id judge him by what he does when he has other players around him. He is trying to force things this year since he is beingasked to be THE Man at Wisky. Will make a fune pro. Better then Carl Landry who has stuck around awhile in the league.

-Really poor showing from Kennedy Meeks, vs Texas. Somehow Dx hd him in the first round not too long ago. Cameron Ridley thoroughly outplayed him.

- Terrific showings from Isaiah Taylor, and Eric Davis. (Javan Felix too- he's not on draft radars though..)

-UCLA beats Gonzaga too. Not suprised one bit, both of their starting bigs are still shooting 61% from the floor. Isaac Hamilton and Jonah Bolden with very strong showings.

-Been posting about Bolden for sometime, he's an import from Australia. Looks really tall now that he's finally on the floor. They list him at 6'10 because he's a wing player, he might actually be taller than that though. I'd say 6'10½ or maybe even 6'11 in shoes. That was a good time to pick up his first double-double.

- Gary Payton II with a strong showing, add his name to the list of old players that will probably get drafted this year. Posterized Cheick Diallo too.

- Marcus Lee is probably the 4th player on Kentucky most likely to get drafted in the first. As I've posted before he's looking like an NBA rim protector.

- Trimble scores 18 on 5-6 shooting (4-4 from 3, 4-4 from the stripe)

- If UL gets this kind of effort from Ray Spalding more often, their very dangerous. In 18 minutes - 11pts(4/4 shooting) 7 boards, 2 asts, 2 stl, 2 blks. He's a legit 6'10 too.

- Damion Lee is obviously going to get drafted in the 2nd. There's little debate about it IMO.

- Utah was abominable throughout that game in Wichita St. The refs were terrible too, both coaches were ready to get techs, just to prove a point. Their spacing was atrocious, constant turnovers. Poeltl wasn;t getting the ball nearly enough. Henry Ellenson will usurp Poeltl in my next mock

- Vince Edwards at Purdue is a legit sleeper. He puts up easy #'s on great %'s.

- Swanigan might end up averaging 10 points, 10 boards and 4 assists this year. While shooting 30% from 3.

- Native NY'er and Sr. at OU, Isaiah Cousins is torching it from 3 thus far. 55% from 3, he's 6'5" has some combo skills and is averaging 4.6 Assists per game.

-What more does Buddy Hield have to do to get into the 1st round?? I just don't know at this point.

- A really poor performance from Trevon Bluiett of Xavier, in a victory vs Cincinnati. Troy Caupain has been seriously under-performing for Cincy thus far.

- Exemplary game from Dillon Brooks of Oregon (In a loss, with Tyler Dorsey out), he had a monster stat line, but he willed Oregon back from a big deficit late. closed it to a 2pt game, then he drove and clearly got fouled with the game on the line and the refs swallowed their whistles. What a shame. 26 points on 10-19 shooting, 5-10 from 3, 3 rebs, 2 asts, 2blocks. He's an NBA player.

-Denzel Valentine takes some AWFUL hero ball shots, I hate that stuff, been watching him do it for years. I'll put him in the first round, but not near the lottery.

- 33/56 so far from 3 for Duncan Robinson

- solid games all-around for Illinois 4 best prospects, Kendrick Nunn and Finke with 14, Hill with 22 (on 14 FTA's) and Jalen Coleman-Lands goes 4/6 from 3 and drops 15.

- Marcus Derrickson, frosh at Georgetown 5-7 from 3, 4 boards, 1st 1stl 1blk in 21 effective minutes. He's worth keeping tabs of.

- Poor shooting game for Ty Wallace of Cal. Rabb posts an easy 15, 11 and 4 blocks, his perceived value is only going to rise.

- The ****ty MSU loses to WHO?!?! The UMKC Kangaroos ??!?!? Malik Newman with acareer high 18 points tho on 4/10 from 3.

- Check out this stat line in 25minutes. UW frosh, Marquese Chriss with 22(11/14 from the stripe), 11 boards(5 orebs), 4 asts, 1 stl, 2 blocks and 1/2 from 3. Their other Frosh Dejounte Murray just needs to pick up his 3pt shooting and his stats will look juicy.

- James Blackmon Jr. with another strong showing. He's shooting 44% from 3 on over 6 attempts per. strong showing for Thomas Bryant 18 and 9 on 7/7 shooting in 21 minutes.

- I'm telling ya's Tacko Fall is no gimmick.. 8pts, 6boards, 1 stl and 6 blocks in 21 minutes.

- Check out this stat line from UNLV's Pat McCaw. - 17pts on 6/11 shooting (2/4 from 3) 8 boards, 3 asts, 7 stls, 1 block.

- Beastly performance by Dedric Lawson of Memphis - 21, 8, 3, 1, 2. They were losing at the half vs Manhattan too.

- 22-10-3 for Josh Scott of Colorado.

- 17-14-3 for Mamadou N'Daiye of UC Irvine

- 25-7-2 for Elijah Brown of New Mexico
