37% is not awful especial from a guy that scored 24.5 ppg. He was the wyoming offense. So i am sure he was getting doubled team constantly. If he shot 45% from 3 instead of 37% his senior year might be interested.
Ahhhhh the danger of the nba draft. You cant have everyone but you fall in love with 2 many.I kinda wanna trade Burks for another late lottery pick (maybe Phoenix or Chicago would be interested), to grab both Beasley and Luwawu. Obviously other pieces would have to be involved for salary purposes, but adding two potential 3&D wings to this squad would be awesome.

Not really--there are only two prospects I particularly like in comparison to where they're projected to go. Many mocks have them going significantly lower than where we're picking. When you combine that with all the assets we have, obtaining both of them is certainly feasible.Ahhhhh the danger of the nba draft. You cant have everyone but you fall in love with 2 many.

I just think we could get more then a late first in an average draft for burks. Not really--there are only two prospects I particularly like in comparison to where they're projected to go. Not sure tbh. He's been so injury prone. Getting a late lottery pick for him seems like decent value IMO.I just think we could get more then a late first in an average draft for burks.

Ahh you wanted a late lottery. That seems about right. I would rather sign a player in free agencyNot sure tbh. He's been so injury prone. Getting a late lottery pick for him seems like decent value IMO.

If it ends up getting the same players, then it doesn't matter where the picks are exactly. Luwawu is Luwawu; Beasley is Beasley. If trading Burks gets us one of them, then I would consider that good value.Ahh you wanted a late lottery. That seems about right. I would rather sign a player in free agency

So.. who would you take if you had the number 3 pick in this draft??
I was wondering... which player in our pick-range has the highest basketball I.Q.?
Some already good/successful teams have picks in that range from bad teams suffering the aftermath of mismanagement. (Nets, Knicks)
Really hard to say pre lottery draw.
Looking at tankathon, if the Cs(via Brooklyn) keep the 3rd position, I'd just trade it together with some lesser picks for DeMarcus.
Let's say the Lakers drop to #4/5 and have to surrender the pick to Philly, it would really depend on where Philly's other #1 lands.
They stay #1 and get Ingram, then you evaluate Embiid long term, but are ready to surrender either Nerlens and/or the other clown to upgrade at guard.
You bring Saric in and play huge wings like the Bucks do, but have ****ing Embiid potentially down low to back your huge wings up and try to manufacture the #1 defense.
It would also make sense for them to trade down for an extra asset to select Murray.
Everyone else either has to select whoever they think is BPA because their roster is so depleted that they need maximum talent influx(LAL,PHX,NOLA,Kings) or they still want to select BPA because the pieces they have are so flexible that they really will make it work(T-Wolves, Nuggets)
Considering the outside chance of 6.5% of the Bucks to sneak in, they could also give Jamal Murray a hard look if you consider the rest of the roster and how hard they crave shooting and how much Jason Kidd values size.
In the second round would be fun to see what he can do. Worst case he will get people to stars games.
Simmons is the highest IQ player in the draft.Denzel Valentine is the highest IQ player in this draft period.
Coaches son
Coached by Tom Izzo for 4 years. Was same kind of leader and stat stuffer at MSU as Draymond Green was. Green said it best when he called Valentine a guard version of himself.

I think Bender is the #3 pick when the dust settles.
