Following 2016 potential draftees

word. I don't know much about Beasely. I don't see superstar in Hield, but his skill set looks like sure-success in Q's system.
Yeah, I'm fairly certain he's not going to be a star, but he'll at least be a great shooter which we desperately need. But it usually takes quite a lot to trade up for a top 5 or 6 pick, which is why you hardly ever see it happen. I could see teams asking for Hood which would be a terrible move for us.

what if he falls to #9 and then we pray....

I would love to get Hield. If we do, I think we will play Gordon at the 4 a decent amount. Do y'all think he could handle that load physically? Also, would he be effective there?

I have always thought he would be the bigger mismatch at the 4 ... Especially when everyone wanted him at 2....

I'd rather have a dude that can stretch the floor, handle the ball, pass, and guard adequately... Than simply be a little bigger at the position but weaker in those areas...

I completely agree with you. I would love to move up to grab Hield if the price were right, but I am sure it would take a lot to do so. Probably some combination of our 1st, next years, and Burks. I am sure you've already answered this many times over, but what are your thoughts on Ullis? He was my favorite pg last year. It might sound nuts but I wouldn't mind moving back and grabbing him if we had the chance.

It won't be.

I'm having such flashbacks to 2013. Just stay put and grab the international player with freak length (Luwawu).

Hield is an infinitely better player than Burke ever was in college, even if they both were players of the year. Infinitely. Like it's not even close.

I think Hayward would be the smallest 4 in the league if he were to play that position.

Yep. He'd get destroyed far too often imo.

Has he played the 4 before and if so, what do the stats tell us?
I think he has once in a while.

No idea about the stats though.

How about Draymond at C?

Hayward could play PF very effectively with an elite shot-blocking C.
He doesn't need to stop opposing PF's, but just slow them down enough to allow the help D to rotate.

Interesting that Marshall Plumlee is at some workouts. I thought he already signed up to join the military. Had a pretty good senior season and has definitely been a late bloomer, but NBA worthy?

Kay Felder is a second rounder who I think will be a solid rotation player in the league...Pint size guard. He can elevate lie Nate Robinson
