Following 2016 potential draftees

Zizic's production in the Adriatic league is ridiculous.

1st in rebounding, 2nd in blocks, 3rd in FG% 12th in scoring - all this despite being 36th in minutes and playing half the season at age 18.

Unreal.

Wow. That's impressive.

The more I look at this draft the more it seems trading back and getting a couple picks is the right move this year.

Agreed. I took this position a couple of days ago. For me, though, there is one exception: if Skal or Chriss fall to 12, then I take them as a swing-for-the-fence type pick. Ellenson would be hard to pass on, too, but I don't like the combo with him and Lyles. Dunno there. But I'd definitely trade back if those 2 or 3 guys were off the board.

Skal terrifies me... if Chriss or Ellenson is there I make the pick. Those guys are a tier above the other guys. I wouldn't take Skal until the late teens or 20s. Lack of production and work ethic are too scary for me.

I think Ellenson is a center in the NBA... not a great fit with Lyles in the second unit, but I'm not sure that if we keep Hayward that Favors will be around forever. Ideally you'd mix and match so that Lyles/Ellenson play with one of Gobert/Favors.

I think he's Grieves Vasquez with a better jumper. Will be a good rotation player. I'd rather trade down than select him at 12... if we have that option.

I think it's hard to accurately project Ellenson. He has great size and length to do a lot of stuff, but his body has so much potential to get optimized.
Will be interesting to follow him in the first couple of years and check if and how his mobility progresses.

I agree. I think he should eve get a serious look in the late 20's, depending on who is still on the board.
I agree with that. He really has no weakness other than some would say his age. Good size and length, great athlete, one of the best shooters in the draft. I'd have a hard time taking Luwawu ahead of him. Not saying I wouldn't, but it's close.

He has had some injuries that give me pause.
