Following potential 2012 draftees

Thanks PKM sounds like a good kid, and the kind of player the jazz need. I'll have to look Miller up, could be a good second round pick.

The article I cited a couple posts up tells a great story of Miller and about all you need to know .. and that's coming from someone (me) that's known the kid for almost 6 years.

nbadraft.net is pathetic I went to that site to look up Darius Millers rankings for shooting, defense, and all that, and what do you know nothing! He's a Four year player on one of the best known teams in the country, and they can't even make an NBA comparison for him.

They also have Quincy Miller around #30 .. iirc.

Just watched a few minutes of a Kentucky game vs Florida from last year on YouTube. He didn't score in the couple minutes I saw but made the right passes, and made his presents known with a monster block. I think he would be a better pro then college player. I'm basing this off one YouTube video, so I could be wrong.

PKM, anything you have to add to that would be great.

Who knows he could be a steal in the second round.

Is he even going to be drafted? Sounds like he would have to go the Wesley Matthews route.

Not sure. DX has him somewhere very late 2nd round.

EDIT: At least a dozen NBA teams have expressed interest in Darius and have included him in their player evaluations. (I can't recall whether the Jazz were included in that.)

Yo, Cy, it's a **** site, but nbadraft.net just updated a few minutes ago and now have the Jazz taking Dee Bost in the 2nd round.

They also have us, with the two lottery picks, taking Sullinger and Zeller .. hahahahahahahahahahaha

HOLY ****! They now have Perry Jones III dropped to 17 and Quincy Miller the first pick of the 2nd round. IdIoTs.

I love the player write ups on nbadraft.net but their mock is good for 1 thing..... To be printed out and used as toilet paper. (of course that would hurt but so does their mock)

Pkm gotta ask what are your thought on Daniel orton? He might be available cheap with Vasquez coming over next year. I know this isn't draft relayed just curious. If the jazz could move al for a sf and or a pg it would be nice to get another big.

Tons of talent. I'm the wrong one to ask though as I'm a bit jaded. Orton is the ONLY player that skipped classes after he declared (and it hurts our collective GPA when a player does that). Everyone else finished their semesters as required by the NCAA. He knowingly blew us off.

He displayed some whininess and too much prima donna for my liking. Believe it or not, he's the ONLY kid Calipari has recruited to UK that was me-first.

He's also got bad knees.

So pass? lol

Dee Bost is 2x the player that Darius ****ing Miller is.

When will you ever learn that you don't get under my skin? I know, I know, you were being serious.

Also, where'd all the Wroten lovers go?? Tony is blistering the nets at 18% from 3 and 58% from the line. Worst ever?

Lillard had 22pts, 4ast, 4stl and 2rbs against the mighty Vikings of Portland St tonight. Didn't shoot that well from the field but was 9/10 from the ft line. Have I mentioned I wanna see this kid in the tourney?

I would too. I spoke with a scout this past Sunday (not Jazz) that quickly mentioned that Damian's numbers against the rest of the lottery-maybes is very impressive. He has the highest 3pt% and FT%. His comment was, 'we feel that will translate.' He knew the numbers off the top of his head and he kind of lit up when speaking about him. I think a whole lot of people want Weber St in the tourney.

Serisouly though. If y'all had Bost instead of Miller UK would be absolutely unbeatable. If we had Miller instead of Bost, we would be a much worse team. In the pro's they are both backups of course. I think Bost has a chance at a better career than Miller.

I think they're pretty even, honestly. So anything else is splitting hairs.

Teague's numbers are perplexing for me. He seems like total trash to me. But he's averaging 4.7 apg. Has a better FG% than Bost .. hitting a higher % from 3 than Beal .. I just don't see those things in the games. I can't simply call him garbage and ignore the fact that he's got good numbers. I don't get it. I guess it's just that there's so much difference between watching him and the others around him that I'm maybe too hard on him. I am NOT (NOT) pimping Teague, for the record.
