Awesome. I could go for another year of looking at GSW's record.
I shot myself in the head over all this ********. Unfortunately, I lived.

I would take John Jenkins or JTaylor before Lamb ..
as for your MSU stuff .. I gave credit to them throughout the year .. more fairly than they deserved.

Looking to the 2013 top 6 protected pick from the Warriors.
It is top 7 protected next year as well. Top 7 protected in 2012 and 2013, top 6 protected in 2014. If not received by 2014, Jazz will instead receive Warriors' 2014 and 2016 second round picks.I just wanted to keep everything straight.
That would piss me off so bad.
The problem with JJ and jt is that they were one of the stars for their respective teams d lamb was not and found ways to contribute with out being the focal point that is what I look for in a second round pick. Lamb is also the perfect back up can play minutes at pg and sg. I would take lamb over those 2 we don't need a player that thinks they should start we need a player that can play a role.
PKM, what can you say about Alex Poythress? Is he a for sure 1 and done? Can he shoot? Defensively? Athletically?
Looking to the 2013 top 6 protected pick from the Warriors.
Weak.
We haven't even gotten to the lottery scenario that GSW's are 8th worst and end up getting the 3rd pick.
If that happens this board collectively will need a good psychiatrist. Here's an interesting scenario. The jazz end up with no picks, but hundreds of jazzfans tune into the draft because we believe the jazz will make a trade to get a pick because it makes so much sense. Jazzfans will stay glued to their tv's all through the lottery, and nothing. The second round comes around, and wouldn't you know it D Miller is still on the board when we pick, and wouldn't you know it the jazz fall in love with some unknown player from some obscure small college, he's so unknown that there isn't even a scouting report on the kid.
Because PKM did such a great job educating us on the various prospects, and getting us so excited that a jazzfanz mob is formed hell bent on taking frustrations out on PKM, jumping to his rescue is Cyrone PKM's favorit man crush. Needless to say both are buried alive. After a few months the NBA is back jazzfanz begins GS watch #2.
Ahhhhhh...... The circle of life at jazzfanz.![]()
Here are my biggest question on Alex Poythress. What position is he? His shot does not look broken so why am I hearing that he is not a good shooter? What is his motor like? Is he foul prone?
Any help in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated.

PKM, I've asked a few times, but never gotten an answer on what you think of Griner from Baylor. Do you think he's a better prospect than PJ3? If he works on his outside game I think he could be a good stretch 4 which we might need if we lose both Al & Paul after next year.

I'm sure you know this, but so no one gets confused, he's a HS senior so he is, at earliest, the '13 draft.
He's a 3/4. I believe he'll make the transition to an NBA 3. His shot is definitely not broken and he hit a couple 3's in the McD's game .. he's just a tweener right now. Having said that, Rivals' leading national recruiting analyst, Jerry Meyer, believes Poythress could easily end up being a top 3 player from this next class.
Thanks for that insight. I am not confused at all about what possible draft class he is. Again, I just didn't want to start the 2013 potential draftees thread, but the more that GS tanks the more I think we should get that started.
Start that mutha up. I'm starting to switch all my thinking to '13 now anyway (both becuase of the GSW pick and UK's next couple of recruiting classes).
By the way, the UK coaching staff feel very confident we're going to add #1 Nerlens Noel, #2 Shabazz Muhammed, and #7 Anthony Bennett to our already committed #15 Archie Goodwin, #16 Alex Poythress, and #40 Willie Cauley. That would make back-to-back-to-back-to-back #1 classes.![]()
