Following potential 2012 draftees

Ok I am completely on the k-g band wagon. I have soured on t jones so much my face is caving in. Second is Quincy miller, then followed by Barnes when, not if he slips.

I'd be ecstatic if we got any of those three. And when you add in Beal, Rivers, and Lamb to the equation, that's 6 great wing prospects, so chances are we should be able to get one of them if we have a top 10 pick. I'm just loving the D-Will trade right now hehe

My order is K-G, Quincy Miller, Barnes, and Lamb, Never have been a big fan of Terrence Jones. My problem with him is his inconsistency and what position will he play in the NBA. The kid has a lot of talent but I just don't see the drive to be great. It is too early for me to make a judgement on Rivers or Beal. Hopefully, some of the bigs come out so the SF get pushed down. For us to get one of the above mentioned picks the Jazz are going to have to really suck this year (doubtfule) or GS is going to need to finish 8th.

I like your order of SF's. I also tend to agree about Jones. Though there's plenty to be worried about with Rivers, I feel he has too much 'it' factor to not become a total stud in the NBA .. at least offensively.

Hey Cy, do you know how to change the size of an image on here now? LG told me once, but I don't remember.

I'm going to post updated stats for freshmen only that are projected lottery picks (or nearly). This is also broken down by position. Though stats don't tell the whole story, you'll see most every position is nearly a tie between all players at this point. Interesting. (also, I'll TRY to figure out how to increase the size of the image)

Nice list, but even as a NC fan I would put Cody Zeller ahead of Mcadoo. Make the change! :)

I don't disagree, but I'm going off of nbadraft.net and DX to compile this particular list, for now.

Time for them two to update their list then. Ford already dropped Mcadoo to 22nd and C Zeller up to 12. However, I doubt either one will be in the draft.

To be a superstar wing in the NBA you HAVE to be able to get to the rim at will. Glad someone high up finally noticed Barnes' inability to do this.

*runs through the door, breathing heavy* Sorry I'm late to the game with this, but I've been saying this about Barnes game since last drafts mega thread. I'm sure he's a phenomenal kid and a gracious citizen but I guess I don't see what everyone else does in him. He seems to be a spot up shooter with average NBA athleticism. He can hit from outside, I cant discount that, but he doesn't really do much else.

That said, I've been VERY impressed with K-G, I just dont see any scenario under which we'd be in position to grab him.

I'd be ecstatic with K-G, Miller, or Lamb. Don't really like any of the other wings at all. Lamb is a SG but has superstar potential with his length and hops.

40" vertical?

All the major mock drafts have him going around #10 right now, aka about where the GS pick should land. His stock could certainly continue to rise, but even if it does, we have plenty of assets to make an attempt to move up in the draft if we have to.

In an ESPN insider article, Chad Ford states that he has recently polled NBA GM's and the most current climate suggests that Barnes has slipped to around 6th for most.

Behind (no order);

Davis
Drummond
PJones
Kidd-Gilchrist
JLamb

Guess that means Quincy Miller could be in our range? Interesting.

I'm less worried than most. Sure there's guys I'd rather have, but I think there's 12 players I could get real excited about ... we'll make one or two very good pick ups.
