Following potential 2012 draftees

Perry Jones might be fools gold. He looks like the prototypical NBA player. He's got the physical skills. But he just doesn't impact the game much. There's definitely a risk there based on his effort and IQ.

always been the knock/concern on him.

Some GM's will still gamble on him over Barnes and K-G, I doubt KOC would be one of them.

Hey Cy: Don't know if you noticed, but nbadraft.net has QMiller slid to 2013 draft. They have projected #10 .. behind #9 Rodney Hood. Cool, huh? I'll be SHOCKED if Miller stays in school more than one year though .. not because he couldn't use the development, he's just not ever shown the go-the-extra-mile approach to bb .. more of a shortest route possible guy.

OT: FWIW, Knight made three 3's in his rook debut. Didn't do much else though. Hitting the long ball is a good place to start ..

Not to mention he lost most of his senior year to a torn acl. He knows the ricks of not getting a pay day sooner. He will be in this draft class.

Will be surprised if he doesn't come out this year as he is still nearly a guaranteed top 10 pick. I guess staying an extra year would probably make him the #1 option on the team and potentially boost his stock for the next years draft. NBADRAFT.net usually blows, but I will give them props on picking up on Hood.

I was at UK's practice yesterday and have another K-G story (CY, you may want to read this, as it relates to Beckham).

Calipari was on a few of the guys extremely hard. One, in particular, didn't take it well (MissSt transfer, Twany Beckham). He would argue with the coach, he would pout, do justabout anything but get it together. After about the 4th or 5th incident, K-G had had enough, grabbed him by his jersey, said, "we ain't here to be coached by your ***, we're here because of that many right there. Now shut the **** up and play ball or take your *** home." That ended it.

Are you just trying to make us all fans of him only to have our heart broken when he gets drafted by someone else?

PS, I love the attitude displayed by K-G.

Lol the guy is a noob. Not impressed by KG calling out one of the worst players on the team.

I was going to post that I thought Drummond was starting to overtake the #1 spot from Davis. He just has such a great NBA body.

i agree even if Drummond doesnt develop a post game hell be a real good player off his size and athletic ability alone..I like Davis but hes anorexic and has no offensive game at all..

I could see him being another Camby which isn't a bad thing but not a guy you pick #1

Anyone see Doug Mcdermott from Crieghton? kids a beast offensively..was Harrison Barnes teammate in HS

Have not seen him play, but Chad Ford has him ranked as the 83rd best prospect. Doubt we will seem him in the draft. You can probably guess what the big knock on him is, but having not seen him cant argue.

Quincy Miller is a guy who could still come out and do well in workouts if he prepares well for the draft.

Camby is a decent comparison at this stage. The KG (Kevin Garnett) talk has to simmer down.
