LOL, But 6' 8" 220lb is a pretty good sized kid for a SO in HS. He could grow into that body and be a 6'9" 250 pounder with great handles. Maybe comparisons to Carmello?
Anyone have any thoughts on Will Barton? I've watched a couple of Memphis games this year and there is just something I like about him. Don't really want him on the Jazz because it appears he isn't the best distance shooter, but I like him.
Like I said, Marion.
I didn't get much of a feel for his shot, but from the looks of it I would say a better passing/dribbling smaller version of Durant.
This thread needs my input so here it is: College basketball sucks ***. I hate watching it. It's such a bad version of basketball compared to the pros. I like the Tourney like anybody. And I watch my school. But for me it's the WNBA with dunking.
I think Kentucky could probably beat the Jazz. Their defense is certainly better.
Meh, it depends who you watch. I can agree with that statement for some teams. Some teams have more of a pro style and pace though.

They all suck. I'm not knocking junkies who can get into any hoops, but the worst NBA team would obliterate the NCAA champ. The NCAA game is just painful to watch outside a few plays every game where a future NBAer does something impressive.
Cool story. This thread is about watching those future NBAer's ..
I find it very fun to watch kids work hard and get better, from level to level. I guess it's not for everyone, obviously, but for some it's as much about pulling for the kids to be their best, as much as it is immediate satisfaction/entertainment.
I'm not cutting into your buzz. I'm not a funkiller. I'm just saying I can't personally get my jones watching the women's golf version of basketball. I miss pros more when I watch a college game and all it's general terribleness. But I don't discount the pageantry and whatnot. I just can't get into it.
I have to read this thread more often. It's too fun. I thought Jabari Parker was going to BYU. He said something about it being his "religion", right?
Cool. I get it, I really do .. even respect it. I've just been watching high schoolers, turn collegiate athletes, go pro, for about 20 years. The stories are just awesome and much better, to me, than a perfectly executed play. (Though we all know those are even rare in the NBA)
I get that. I get the emotion of college ball. Like I said, I watch my college. But the speed and skill of college ball is so ridiculously worse than pro ball. I'm jonesing, too, but emotional stories don't help me get through games played by 1 or 2 competent players and 8 functional retards trying to outretard one another to win one for State U.
