Following potential 2012 draftees

Grant Hill was a dominant player in college. Comparing MKG to Grant Hill is high praise.

From Grant Hill's personal website:

"Hill’s statistics at Duke University revealed his remarkable range of talent. In four years, he averaged 14.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while hitting 53 percent of his shots and 70 percent of his free throws. Hill can also score from long distance as he buried 39 three-pointers in his senior year. Upon graduation, Hill stood ninth on the Duke all-time scoring list, sixth in assists and fourth in both blocks and steals."

K-G is owning these stats .. as a freshman, and on a talent-laden team (as Hill enjoyed). I promise I take every opportunity to not be a homer, but both K-G and Davis make it very hard.

PLEASE, someone ask me about Teague!!

What do you think about teague?
How bad is he?

By the way PKM keep posting about these college guys... i dont watch much college ball outside of BYU so i appreciate the info.
I keep telling my friends/family/co-workers about this guy named michael kidd-gilchrist who i really want the jazz to draft next year and i have only seen him play maybe about 25 minutes this whole season.
People think i know what im talking about when i tell them about K-G when in actuality im just plagerizing you :D

Grant Hill was the guy who got the big rebounds, the big drives and fouls--the guy who was in every play and helped lead Duke deep in the NCAA tourney two years in a row. I'm not criticizing MKG, but Grant Hill was practically a Danny Manning-like dominant college player.

Why, thanks for asking.

He's the worst PG I have EVER seen projected as a lottery pick. Ever.

He has the speed and ... well .. that's it. Handles, sure. I feel like he's dumb as a box of rocks. Sharp as a marble. Feel me?

Haha, plagerize away. I have a theory .. if I hear it and like it, it's mine.

I am unashamed to say that is K-G all the way.

I think Wroten and Marshall will be in the discussion for best PG in the upcoming draft (assuming they come out). I'm not sure where Scott Machado is in the discussion.

One big difference though. Grant Hill can shoot.

Cy: I agree that K-G's shot is ugly. I agree he's not a 'shooter.' Having said that, you should keep up to speed on his stats. He's shooting everything better than QMiller (overall %, 3's, and FT's), is hitting better than Barnes in two of the three categories (sans 3's), and is right on Hill's numbers (although K-g is only 14 games into his freshman season (and is the youngest freshman playing in the NCAA). Be fair, man.

Some players are better college players than they are in the pros.

And some people are better pros then college. What's your point?

Words out of my mouth. I called Rondo to be a better pro than college player after only 4 or 5 games of his freshman year. I think TJones is scary .. I'm concerned he will do ANYTHING in the pros (even though he's projected ahead of MKG in most mocks. I also think MKG will be a BETTER pro than college player.
