Following potential 2012 draftees

Seems like everyone is familiar with our 1st round draft status (GSW & MIN scenarios). Are there any surprises for the 2nd round this year? I know we either got or gave up a 2nd rounder in the Boozer to Chicago deal, but I'm not sure what year that was for (2014 rings a bell). Any other future picks we have from other teams, or any that we've given up?

2015

DX has the Jazz taking Scott Machado in the 2nd round. That would be awesome. Honestly, I had forgotten about the 2nd round pick. There's some very intriguing players all the way through the 2nd as well.

Any thoughts on these stats?

Marshall - 9.7 assists (1st) --- 2.8 TO's (1st) ---28.2% from 3 (3rd) --- 66.7% FT (2nd)
Teague - 4.4 assists (3rd) --- 2.9 TO's (2nd) ---31.9% from 3 (2nd) --- 68.9% FT (1st)
Kabongo - 5.5 assists (2nd) --- 3.1 TO's (3rd) ---33.3% from 3 (1st) --- 63.8% FT (3rd)
Wroten - 3.3 assists (4th) --- 4.0 TO's (4th) ---28.2% from 3 (4th) --- 66.7% FT (4th)

Random thoughts;
- Wroten is the worst in all 4 categories, yet leads his team in scoring .. evidence he's a SG trying to play PG? I think so.
- We probably shouldn't draft any of these in the top 20 .. if so, Marshall has to be it.
- The best free throw shooter is Teague at 68.9%??? Sheesh.
- Reason I'm watching Rivers. I feel like our PG has got to be a threat from deep.

Any other thoughts?
Nice post.

The 2nd they gave up was last year (2011). Hence, no 2nd round pick last year.

Has anyone seen him play yet?

Does his team appear to be a lock for a NCAA bid?

I have not seen Iona/Machado play yet, but he is actually the first prospect that I've seen that really intrigues me just on paper. I was kind of astounded that I hadn't seen even one mid-major (or less) force at the position that are almost there every year.

I need a favor there is a great Scott machado video on YouTube I am not in a position to post it can some one post it please.

From what I see is the Gaels do a lot of standing around but machado does see the floor well and is a good passer. He is no very explosive but he does have a little extra gear to get around defenders. Finishes well with contact. Couldn't see much of his jumper but his percentages are good. I think he will be a plAyer in the nba. I like his demeanor on the court the most.

I watched some of the UConn game this evening. First, Jeremy Lamb had about three air balls off of normal touches that I saw, off by 2 feet or more. He didn't have a great game, for sure.

Drummond plays a bit sleepy sometimes, but he has spurts of quickness and explosiveness. His movement and body language isn't great--he's flat footed and shuffles around a bit. To be honest, he looks like a slightly rich man's version of Greg Monroe. More explosive to be sure, but he's not a lock to be a dominant player in the NBA despite his talent. He also shoots free throws like he learned from the Shawn Marion school of weird.
