I wouldn't mind that either but that doesn't help the PG problem at all.
Clearly Paul and AJ would be expendable under this scenario and could help with the PG situation.

Meyers Leonard = Cole Aldrich
Except Meyers Leonard is much, much more athletic than Aldrich. Oh and the fact that he has an outside shot, oh and that he can actually dribble halfway decently for a big man. Essentially their only similarities is that they're tall white men.
This guy averages 8 rebounds per game in the Big 10, ugggh. He seems soft to me. Aldrich is a stiff, this guy looks like a cream puff. Same results will be the D-League for both.
I'm predicting 2 picks in the next draft in the 8 to 13 range. Here are those listed in the nbadraft.net and DX mocks.
DX
8 - John Henson
9 - Tyler Zeller
10 - Brad Beal
11 - Terrence Jones
12 - Jeremy Lamb
13 - Quincy Miller
.net
8 - Jared Sullinger
9 - Brad Beal
10 - Perry Jones
11 - Meyers Leonard
12 - Terrence Ross
13 - John Henson
Haha, so true. GS is playing great and Monta is playing MVP basketball right now.I think they will be int eh 8 to 14 range as well but the Jazz pick might end up being #8 and GSW #14. Both teams are headed in opposite directions.
I think I'm back on the Marshall bandwagon. I don't think Kanter or Favors are ever going to become dominant scorers, especially if they don't ever have a good PG. We need someone who can give our big guys easy looks.
I've changed my mind on that bandwagon more times than Romney.

NOT the '12 draft ('13), but check out Nerlens Noel. He just reclassified from the prep class of '13 to '12 and many recruiting analysts are saying he'll likely bump Shabazz from the #1 spot in the rankings. One NBA scout said he's the best shot blocker he has EVER seen. 6'10 ... not necessarily a Jazz need or potential get .. just going all OT on y'all.

For me it starts and ends with Miller, who is now shooting a blistering 43% from three. I like still like Lamb a lot from a pure talent perspective, although he is having some trouble shouldering the #1 scoring option at UConn.
Some players I'm curious about...not sure if they've been mentioned much. Thoughts on them?
1) Tyshawn Taylor...5.1 assists...47.9% from floor/43.1% from three...poor FT shooting but he could improve there based on his other numbers I'd think. Assuming his ceiling isn't so high.
2) Hollis Thompson...47.5% from three...6'8"...5.5 rebounds per...insane shooting for a 6'8" guy who can rebound some.
3) Jae Crowder...6'6"...16.2 points on 50% from the floor, 7.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.3 steals, 1.0 blocks...only 1.2 turnovers...very well-rounded...Marquette seems to produce fundamentally sound, selfless guys who care about winning. This guy intrigues me the most from the little research I've done...I'm not saying with a top 10 pick but still.
