Following potential 2012 draftees

Where do you guys see Miller going in the draft? I'm wondering if we could get both Miller and Marshall assuming miller is drafted later on. I'm also assuming we'd have to trade into a second pick.

His growth may have been slowed by the injury and the recovery thereof?

With Miller we'll have 2, 3, 4, 5 locked for the next 5 years all with very good length. His 3pt shooting can't hurt..

Harris is improving his game may be he would sign on cheaply after the next season? Say around $5mil? The question is are Marshall/Lillard good enough to be our PG of the future or do we settle with just a vet.

how much better would Favors be with Marshall?

What concerns me with Miller is, ever since his jr year in HS, he's been described as a kid with extreme upside .. and maybe 'next year' he'll assert himself, work hard, and put it all together. I've been thinking he would for 3 years now, but I'm growing weary whether the kid cares enough.

I'd never draft a kid like this. Ever.

I still don't want to take a PG in this draft. I don't think any PG in this draft deserves to be picked 8th (if we get the pick). I'd still rather take BPA, give Harris another year, then go after a Curry or Lawson or Harden in the offseason for our PG.

He was a dominant hs kid who tore his acl. I think he's doing pretty well considering. I'd take him with our second lotto pick (....which we probably won't have, but lets pick up that conversation later tonight).

I think both Lillard and Marshall are legit mid-late lotto talents. I like Lillard as much as Kemba Walker and probably like Marshall even more. Think of it this way--Marshall will add 8 pts. to Kanter's scoring average.

Ummmm, Harden is not a point guard. I dont really want Lawson either. I definitely think Marshall or Lillard can be better. Curry will be restricted I believe so we are not getting him.

I would be more than happy having Harden run 50+ pick n rolls with Favors as our offense. And FYI, all 3 will be restricted.

If you new Favors could score 20 points a game with Marshall, and improve the offense, isn't he worth it?

It won't happen but in the small chance we got Harden we'd breasting his talent as a scorer and shooter by playing him as our main pg.

If I knew this, then yes, but I don't. I think Marshall could be a starting PG in the league, but I still don't see him as a top 10 pick. Every time I watched him I saw Eric Maynor - who's good, but same thing - not top 10.

I wouldn't boo a Marshall pick, but he wouldn't be my first choice.

I think you forgot that Harden played PG in college. He would not be an elite PG, but he would be extremely effective as a PG.

For a year now I've wanted to go BPA in the draft .. or bSFa. Then trade or FA a PG. May be hard though, as teams all know PG's will become a premium.

I think the name Rivers has just been tarnished. Reddick is a decent comp for him? I doubt it.

Better shooter? Reddick.
Better passer? About equal.
Better athlete? Rivers
Better overall player? Rivers

Miller is the kind of player that I could see a team fall in love with. Would not be surprised to see the Jazz take him or even have him off the board when we pick. If we could get him or Barnes, I'd be very excited.
