Following potential 2012 draftees

I think Burks is definitely the black sheep in regards to how he might fit in here (for better or worse), but I would not trade him for two late 1st rounders.
 
Yeah, agreed on not trading Burks. He may not fit with our starting lineup, but he could be a great scoring 6th man.
 
Though if we could get Royce White for him I might do it because it would be really interesting to watch him develop as a player.

I could see D.Lamb being like Gary Neal on the Spurs.
 
We definitley wait to see how good he can become. His stock is going to rise for sure. But I agree, it does kind of feel like he is out of place. Who knows, maybe he ends up a lot better than Hayward and Hayward just ends up coming off the bench forever and ever and ever ever ever
 
Is Crowder not coming out? I didn't see him on the most recent mock. Also, I think Drew Gordon is going to be the biggest steal of the draft.

I agree, sometimes we place too much emphasis on possible upside. The Jazz aee in a great position to swing for the stars though. They have a great core of talent, they just need the one missing piece that could make all the difference.

I must admit, DLamb and DMiller are guys that I would like to see in a Jazz uniform. I wonder if it does make sense to try and trade to get Bostons two late first round picks. We could get exactly what we want there.

I've been impressed with his ability to get to the line. I'd like to watch him for a few years and see how he progresses. I think he has big time player potential, but think I am becoming the minority.

I think I remember hearing a rumor that the Jazz liked Rivers in the late lottery, so maybe they believe they could acquire him just outside the lottery, as well.

Quincy Miller and Arnett Moultrie also come to mind as possibilities. Even though we already have a logjam down low, taking another big (Moultrie) seems like a very Jazz thing to do. This would also make Al AND Millsap expendable, so I can see it happening.

Don't worry, I'm as big of a supporter of Burks as ever.
 
At least Burks bad shots are when he gets to the basket and tries to finish over 4 people ( for the most part ). I can live with that type of aggressiveness. It's much better than chucker miles shooting fade away 3 pointers all game.

Zeller would be a better pick than Moultire for our team. Moultrie may end up being the better big, but Moultrie would just give us another offensively raw athlete who is going to score mostly on cuts, putbacks, and transition. If we do trade Jefferson, Zeller would give us another polished offensive player who can score in the half-court.

I like Moultrie, but I agree ... I'd take Zeller all day.
