Following potential 2012 draftees

Loving the rumors PKM. I don't care if there's a shred of truth to them or not either. Let's break them down...

Everything is true, it's just a matter of which team is smokescreening, posturing, or whatever. I definitely get the distinct impression that the Jazz and Rockettes believe they can accomplish something.

Is it so insane to say, 'maybe let's just chill the **** out on trading everyone for everyone for a second'?

If we got the 8th pick, I bet we package it with the Memo trade exception for a legitimate 3rd option SF.

Trade talk is really pretty idle for another two weeks. When we know whether we have #8 or not it makes more sense to speculate.

Sure, but that's not exactly my point. I think the Jazz have a number of real nice pieces that they should just commit to and focus on. For at least a couple of seasons (for me, at least The Four and Sap for close to dead-certain).

Fair enough. I agree with you that trading Kanter, Burks, Hayward, or Favors would be a little premature and foolhardy. I doubt we get close to equal value on Millsap and would vote no there as well. If we could move Al or Harris I would be more interested in that, but I feel we have a lot of room to get better just by getting more experience and figuring out how to best use the pieces we DO already have.

I agree on focusing on the The Four and Sap. To me part of focusing on that is clearing the way for them to shine and getting players that compliment their game. Clearing out Big Al for favors to start along side Sap and bringing in a more pass oriented, veteran PG (Rondo or Nash) over Harris are clear examples of this,

Same. Keep the 4 and Sap. Please.

The only player I honestly want traded is Jefferson. Id trade him for Iguodala if his contract wasn't so damn long :(

Only problem I have with that is that Iggy is not a shooter. The Jazz desperatly need shooters.

I know. I was simply salivating at how good of a lineup we would be defensively.

3 years from now:

PG
Hayward
Iggy
Favors
Kanter

We would lock teams the **** down. :P
