Following potential 2012 draftees

If the Jazz get Jae Crowder or Darius Miller, I will consider this a very nice draft.

Holy **** it's destiny.

Jae Crowser will soon join the likes of Paul Milsap, Gordan Haywood, and Alex Burk.

With the #47 pick the Utah Jazz select Jay Crowser.

Embrace it.

Son of a gun. Numberica edited his post. Still, an easy to spell name that everyone on Jazzfanz will manage to F up = Jazz will draft him.

I'm sure this has been discussed but I haven't look at this thread in weeks, but has anyone noticed Quincy Miller has fallen out of the first round on DX's board?

Sorta called this about 6 months ago when the Q Miller hype here was insane.....right PKM?

If he falls to the 2nd, I'd be begging KOC to trade up a few spots and snag him.

Jeremy Lamb was asked about teammate Andre Drummond, "He could be great, just depends on whether he decides to work."

no surprise, but ouch ..

Ha, of a teammate nonetheless.

Which is the worst kind possible. It is not the same as when Kobe calls out Gasol becuase it it mid season. This is a situation to where these two may not play on the same team the rest of their careers. If I was a GM, this would make me reevaluate my position on Drummond.

What is the hell is all the fascination with Dion Waiters? Now CLE being rumored to be seriously taking him at #4????

He's a 6'4 SG that sucked, at the collegiate leve,l in the half-court. He's great in transition, good in the PnR, but seems, to me, to be a liability in the half-court. Shot 36% from three as well .. which is okay, I guess, but nothing great for sure. Maybe they're right, but I'm having trouble seeing reason reason for all the love.

I think he is this years Tristan Thompson. Everyone will be scratching their heads as to why this guy was drafted so high.

My biggest concern is that if Waiters does go that high then teams like GS, Por, Tor and Det will get the guy that they want and will not want to trade out of that position.

Honestly, it would me on Lamb as well. I mean, there's a maturity aspect in knowing what to say to the media .. it's not a huge deal, but at least a small cause for pause.

Cousins had the same problem leading up to the draft. Many stated he was the best player in the draft but were afraid of his attitude. Cousins' coaches and teammates were interviewed and all gave him glowing reports .. except for one, Daniel Orton. Orton said Cousins is like a big kid throwing a temper tantrum, but with him he's huge and someone can get hurt. Everyone knew that was a totally unfair depiction of Demarcus (he had never scared anyone, put his hands on anyone, or even lost his temper .. at least not at UK. But what did the NBA personnel remember? Orton's statements. Later on, Orton went on to be the ONLY one-and-done player at UK to ever quit classes (hurting UK's GPA) because of declaring for the draft. It was Orton that has shown the immaturity, more so than Cousins. I think my point is made.

These kids are trying to get drafted as highly as possible, not sure why they would say things to bring each other down, if not for a lack of mental aptitude or immaturity.

Teamates turn competitors for draft position and $$$.

I guess I could see it, but not respect it, if Lamb feels he could leap ahead of Drummond. Some statements that are made don't positively impact the one saying it though .. like Royce White calling out MKG and Drummond .. no way he goes before either of them.

He said what he said to Drummond. The guy asked him what he said to Drummond on the court.

He was probably asked a question about MKG. It's not like he came out of nowhere and called him out. Someone asked him about him and he told him what he thought. Stop being overly sensitive.

I said it was stupid and it is. That's called an obseration and opinion. Sensitive is how you respond to your lady having a bad day.
