Following potential 2013 draftees

***Gloat Alert!!!***

UK's class for next year .. SO FAR.

#1 PG
#1 SG / #2 SG (can easily play SF)
SF is still open (will either sign #1 Wiggins or move James Young, #2 SG, to the SF spot)
#5 PF (and still on Randle, #1 PF, and Aaron Gordon, #3 PF)
#1 C

Also have a stretch 4/5 that is a 4yr filler, ranked around 100..

I was under the impression that Randle had committed?

I wish. Right now it's a 3 way neck and neck. Texas, Florida, UK.

We have; (Rivals rankings ... which I have long considered the best)

PG - Andrew Harrison (#5 nationally, #1 position)
SG - Aaron Harrison (#4 nationally, #1 position)
SG/SF - James Young (#8 nationally, #2 position)
PF/C - Marcus Lee (#18 nationally, #5 position)
C - Dakari Johnson (#13 nationally, #1 position)
Stretch PF - Derek Willis (#120 nationally .. the token four year guy)

Still heavily involved with;
SF - Andrew Wiggins (#1 nationally, #1 SF)
PF - Julius Randle (#2 nationally, #1 PF)
SF/PF - Aaron Gordon (#6 nationally, #3 SF)

We'll get one of those ... to go with the rest.

Just watched highlights of Wiggins. Scary good. Actually reminds me of a young Jordan.

Yep, he's the only kid I've ever dared to make that comparison. Jordan is kind of off limits as far as I'm concerned. Funny thing with Wiggins is he's so far ahead of the rest, yet still a bit more raw than his peers. Upside is ridiculous.

Just watched highlights of Dakari Johnson. The kid looks brutal. Not in a good way.

Yikes, just watched the vid you posted. That was from 2 years ago. Dakari has grown an inch and dropped 40 lbs since then. Here's a vid from the City of Palms event a month ago .. top games of the year for HS basketball, the who's who in the nation. Here are his highlights from his two games in the event. He's still not spectacular or anything, but much better than the video of him as a 15 year old.

By the way, Calipari told Dakari NOT to come to UK if he was going to demand many touches. He told him with the class we have coming in and the scoring they provide, he's going to have to be willing to just do the dirty work. Love that the kid said yes to that.

The tanking to get him will be disgusting next year. I can see Toronto in particular going to extremes to get their hometown boy - like 5-7 wins.

If only the Jazz had the balls to just sign on enough scrubs to reach the cap requirement, play The Four all the minutes, and potentially land Wiggins. I hope they prove me wrong.

I'd love to see the Jazz wind up with any of;

Wiggins
Andrew Harrison
Julius Randle
Even;
Aaron Harrison (though not a need .. I love strong bulls that can force their way through defenders but still light it up from deep, pretty rare combo)
