Oh the insanity! Which pg to draft. Oh wait the jazz will draft a big and a wing.
Really? Not too short/slow/lazy?

Not only do I think I may agree with that but my biggest test of all says stay clear. He looks like a deadbeat thug. I know that sounds judgmental but name me one very good player in the league who looks or acts like a thug. And please spare me the Cousins or Evans of the world. There's a reason their teams is 30-52 every year.
You're such a nerd. When I said he looked lazy it was because he was lying on the floor with his chin on a bb.
How does he look like a thug? Looks like a pretty good kid to me.
I don't know... I think MCW falls into the "Moonrise Kingdom" syndrome.
He looks FANTASTIC now in his world of college basketball. But how will he do in the real world of the NBA? OK he can pass it, we got that. But can he shoot the 3's. Can he bring the ball up effectively with that high dribble? Will he be TO prone? Then on defense, I just don't know he he'll be able to guard the likes of John Wall, Ty Lawson, etc, of the league.
Didn't Chad Ford say he's a tremendous defender? He obviously has the rebound and steal numbers, but his size could be a major advantage. Until I hear scouts etc. questioning his defensive ability at the next level, I say he's good.
Ford also recently said he thinks MCW will be a better shooter than what he's shown. His form really does look good, and the fact that he's way taller than any other PG will certainly help him to get his shot off with ease.
Not that I'm 100% sold on him or anything.
Yeah his size is a major advantage, it's his speed and quickness I'm worried about chasing down guys like Wall, Lawson, Parker, etc.
Yeah, idk. I wouldn't say he's slow or anything, but not as fast as those guys, obviously. I do think his size will help make up for whatever speed deficiency he has.
I haven't seen him played enough, have been following Burke more cos he's more within our range...
But does MCW have the potential to be a Rubio type point guard, but with a dunking ability?
How does he look like a thug? Looks like a pretty good kid to me.
We need a LEADER.
We need a PG with a strong bbIQ.
A PG that can read a defense, get into the gaps, and have the vision to make the pass in traffic.
A PG that is not a liability on defense.
ServIceable shot.
So I'm less concerned with them being a lockdown defender or dead-eye shot, as much as I am the first three items listed above.
You basically just described Rondo and a few other elite PGs. As you have mentioned several times, there is no one like that until next seasons draft. Right?
I think there is potential in this draft, for sure, but this year marks the end of the PG drought and there are a half dozen high schoolers right now I'd draft, right now, above any in the draft.
For the record, I was pimping Irving in the 2012 thread, but he was obvious to most.
