Following potential 2013 draftees

Otto is an outsanding player and a fine prospect but I do not see him as top-3 in this draft. I prefer McLemore and Shabazz at the 2/3 position to OP Jr. If I mapped it out, I'd probably have him around 5 or 6 on my big board.

Check Otto Porter's stats thread.

Ronnie Brewer's career stats at Arkansas:
15.7 PPG, 5 RPG, 3.3 APG, 2.4 SPG, 46.2 FG% and 34% from three.

Otto Porter's career stats at Georgetown:
12.7 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.5 SPG, 51 FG% and 37% from three.

Porter is the better rebounder and slighty better shooter, Brewer is the better defender and scorer/passer.

Why look at career stats? The only thing that really matters for college players is their last year. Porter was a different player last year and had a different role on the GT. Obviously he has improved a tremendous amount and so far there is no reason to believe that it is a fluke.

Also, if you watched any games at all, you could tell their games are 100% different.

Both really weak drafts and both players right around the exact same area.

I think this draft will be better than people are thinking.

I don't see how the comparison is really relevant anyways. All the drafts are different.

I think it may be even worse. There will be a few studs emerge but top 20 will produce more non-producers than any draft in a decade.

I'm speaking with an asst tomorrow that is going to fill me in on the Jazz visit. They evaluated 3 players and gave some candid feedback to this asst. I texted him for details and he left me a message while I was in air.

Calling me tomorrow at noon (10mtn).

Anthony Davis is pretty good, he's just so inconsistent which I think is due to injuries. Every week in my fantasy league I'm always holding my breath hoping he can play... But when he's healthy, he's very solid - no Larry Sanders, but solid.

Keep in mind two things;
1) he's very young .. very
2) the pelicans are being ultra cautious with him. Hes sitting when he could be playing (according to him).

I agree on both counts, he'll cause some havoc in a year or two when he puts on some weight.
