Following potential 2013 draftees

That is sad because nbadraft.net just seems really, really bad sometimes.

Yeah, I change my mind because I just looked at their mock right now. Archie Goodwin at #28? 10 days ago they had Wolters at #31 amd he goes and tears it up and wins his conference tournament and drops to #33? Michael Carter-Williams at #17?

What a beautiful pass by Burke and a great finish by Hardway Jr. that alley-oop was sick!!!

Yeah, past 4 or 5 defenders. Even on Burke's drives you can tell he's seeing the spacing on the whole floor. He should have even more space to work with in the NBA. He can also get a bit stronger. In every play, it looks like he's giving himself 2 or 3 options at any time, and it freezes the defense. The defense has to back off to guard against the drive and limit passing lanes, but put a big enough defender on him so that he doesn't just pull up and shoot with the space he's given. Then as players move, he consistently finds the opening.

Interested to see if MCW can figure out the Georgetown zone this game. This will be his 3rd go at it in less than a month. Even though he was able to score last time, I never really noticed him doing a good job of getting the offense in any kind of rhythm.

Since Wolters seems unlikely in the 2nd round, how bout Erik Murphy?

27 points, 12 rebounds. Solid big man who can stroke it from deep. Has enough size to play in the NBA. I think his skill level is somewhere in between Bonner and Anderson. Would make for a good stretch 4 coming off the bench who can be paired with Kanter or Favors.

I like Murphy.. not sure he guards.. but in the 2nd he could be a good situational option.

I'd be more concerned with his rebounding than his defense personally. Being a backup big, you don't really have to be a great defender, but grabbing rebounds would be a concern.

Nbadraft.net also has Doug McDermott at #18, he is a second-rounder for sure in my opinion.

Wowowowowowowwwwwwwwww now. McDemott a second rounder? He might be a little short for PF but have you seen his numbers? Mid-late first round for sure.

Non-athlete tweener SF/PF. Who has made it in the NBA like that? Not saying he can't, but I think he will probably be a early 2nd rounder.

McDermott seems like someone who could jump into the 1st round if he somehow manages to put up surprising combine numbers.
