Following potential 2013 draftees

Guys.. switching between 2013 & 2014 draft threads is giving me a headache so I'm posting my question & answer from PKM here:

Hotttnikkk Question:

If we missed out on Kasey Hill & Andrew Harrison, do you think Aaron Harrison will slip ala Bledsoe when he had to play 2nd fiddle to John Wall?

If so, may be we can pick him up where we're likely to be picking - let's say #14 pick next year and teach him to play PG?

PKM's answer:

#1 - Bledsoe didn't slip. When he came into college he was not assumed to be a one-and-done but yet he came out at #18.
#2 - Aaron Harrison is a PURE SG.. so he wouldn't slip because of Andrew. Having said that, Aaron very effectively handles the PG spot when Andrew isn't playing (which was extensively this year while Andrew was hurt).
#3 - Aaron could slip to #14 I suppose, but my very early bet would be closer to #10. And I do think he could play PG in the NBA .. but I'll wait and watch him in college before making any larger assumptions.

Follow up question:

So there could potentially be 4 legit star PGs in next year's draft?

Andrew Harrison, Kelsey Hill, Tyler Ennis, Aaron Harrison.

PKM's reply:

I think 'legit' is Andrew and Kasey.. with a possibility of more. See, I said I need to see more from Aaron before I would call him a PG.. I only believe (way too early to tell though) that he can be.

I have my negs ready if you don't make that dear diary thread

K, lol. But like all of those threads, it's like I already know what needs to be done...

But it is fun sharing this **** with you guys. For whatever reason. Dal already knows the basics of what's been going on.

I think he can be an effective starter, yes. I make the backup comment because I'm asking myself not whether he can be merely effective but can he lead a championship caliber team. Maybe that's not fair or relevant, but hopefully clarifies.

Yes, I was high on Rivers.. and I'm still curious, tbh. I was high on Selby because of his major slippage. Like Kabongo.. one person asks me if I like him when he was mocked at #7 and I said no. Another person asks when he's in the 2nd round and I said yes.

And yes.. none of us get them all right... I feel like I've been right way more than wrong, but still wrong too often to ever be taken too seriously.

Rivs just has the Evan Turner syndrome.

PKM's reply:

I answered it in the '14 thread. Sorry, but it doesn't give me a headache. The fact that they are two different years makes for a nice clean division.
