Following potential 2013 draftees

And Adetokunbo is not?

Are you for real? Compared to Gobert (who is projected higher on the best database accessible to everyone anyway, besides that he may be too weak to play in the NBA as he is not a perimeter player [but we'll see]), Adetokundo is Kobe Bryant.

Noel will be more like 6'9" after a haircut, and he's not big enough to play center. He's going to have to make himself into a PF and develop his offensive game almost from scratch.
Mitch McGary is a slightly rich man's Josh McRoberts.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has as much pro potential as GR3, maybe more.
Archie Goodwin will make plays at the pro level and become a solid rotation player. He just needs to develop.

Noel defies his height.. he's a legit 6'10.. but his pogo stick jumping, defensive instincts, and motor are what truly make him #1 in a weak class.

Kelly Olynyk will have a bigger impact in the league than Alex Len and Mason Plumlee who are relative stiffs. Olynyk will look good if he doesn't have to deal with double teams like he did in the tournament, and he'd be a real contributor on a contender like Miami or OKC
Alex Poythress should seriously consider the draft this year. He's ready physically and just needs confidence and more experience. He'll be a better pro that college player.
Gorgui Deng is long and slow like Samuel Dalembert. Maybe he'll get overpaid too. I'm not sure how his speed translates to he NBA. Biyombo has also been having that problem.

Plumlee is a stiff? No.

Plumlee is very, very athletic, he just isn't a traditional big man who knows a lot of post moves. His role will be rebounding and dunking, and playing solid man-to-man defense. I like Olynky more than Plumlee, but he isn't a stiff.

Anyways, most of you know that I'm rarely wrong when I talk about players. If I remember right, I was one of the only ones who thought Lillard would have the impact right away that he's having. With that said, here's some players I like outside of the obvious top players.

CJ McCollum: He has skills that translate. Tear drop. Good shooter. Good ball handler. Athletic. Can finish at the rim. Has the tools and wingspan to learn how to play good defense. Good court awareness. Those are all skills that translate to the next level. He will be one of the best players from this draft.

Greek Freak: I like him. Very raw, but lots of skills. In a draft like this, you take him. Saric is a bum btw. Don't like him at all.

1 thing I didn't miss about not having Hantlers: The Duke love.

Meh. It was an unbiased post. Feel free to disagree with what I said though, you know I like the discussion.

It's not like I'm saying Ryan Kelly or Seth Curry are going to light the NBA on fire (they aren't). The only time I've homered a Duke player was Austin Rivers...and that was a mistake.

Thanks for Rodney Hood btw. Him and Parker playing together is gonna be fun.

The dude high-jumped like 7'0 when he was in high school. He runs the court as well if not better than any big man in the draft. The only setback he has is that he lacks elite lateral quickness, and he sucks on offense.

Yeah, that should be good. Put Kelly as center, Parker as PF, and Hood at SF. That would be a dangerously dynamic offensive front line. They would probably struggle with power big men, but maybe young Plumlee is ready to be a man.

Kelly is gone man, he was a senior. Duke has basically no real 5 man, the young Plumlee...now he's a stiff.

Again, my reasoning for thinking that Saric can work great on the Jazz is because of his ability to create for others. Imagine Hayward, Burks and Saric on the floor along with Favors and Kanter. That is a tall/long line up that will create issues for teams.

I'm not saying that Saric is going to be an all-star, I'm just saying that I like where he is at and how he can contribute right away.

On a side note, did't Hayward struggle with his shot the year that he declared for the NBA? If I remember correctly he was shooting worse in every category compared to the season before.

I don't understand the love for Adetokunbo? If we are going to pick someone based on their age and measurements we should pick Rudy Gobert he has a 7'7 wingspan and he is a 7'0.
To me the Greek freak reminds me of the dude from the bobcats picked in the Kanter Burks draft. Both came out of nowhere, and were liked do to freak length and skill set that wasn't a sure thing in the NBA. I still like Saric more.
Haha. He is a young Larry Nance mixed in with a young Scottie Pippen. Lottery pick for sure.
not bloody likely! (English accent)
I know, that why the Jazz drafted him over that dead beat Valanciunas.
Didn't Cy love Val. and hate Kanter?
Tobias Harris has been looking good lately. Too bad his performances don't translate to wins for the Magic.
Would love to sign and trade Millsap for him

Who we should draft in order in my opinion
CJ. (Too many people here like him for me to write off.)
SARIC or Withey
CANAAN
(just worried he'll get picked too early in the second round)

Will Saric come right to the NBA or stay over sea's once drafted?
