Following potential 2013 draftees

Kelly Olynyk is another big man at #14 potentially, looks like we could get a solid 3rd big at #14 (Olynyk, Austin, Dieng) and a point guard at #21 (Larkin, Wolters, Kabongo).

For entertainment purposes only, the 14th and 21st picks of the last 7 years. Most of these guys started for a stretch but went with overall minutes and effectiveness to rate them.

2012
14: John Henson (solid rookie year)
21: Jared Sullinger (solid rookie year, injured)

2011
14: Marcus Morris (6-8th man bench player)
21: Nolan Smith (bust)

2010
14: Patrick Patterson (6-8th man bench player)
21: Craig Brackins (bust, overseas)

2009
14: Earl Clark (9-12th man bench player)
21: Darren Collison (starter quality player)

2008
14: Anthony Randolph (bust)
21: Ryan Anderson (starter quality player)

2007
14: Al Thornton (6-8th man bench player)
21: Daequan Cook (9-12th man bench player)

2006
14: Ronnie Brewer (6-8th man bench player)
21: Rajon Rondo (4x all star, 4x all defensive team, 1x all NBA 3rd team)

Otto Porter with the 3rd overall pick when we move up in the draft.....

Or on the more realistic side:
McCollum
Isiah Austin
Kabongo
Giannis
Any of the high potential centers

Serious though. This the draft to swing for the fences. Let's grab this Greek dude and whatever's left over at 21. This draft is really laughable. Makes no sense why the decent players are returning risking so much.

Jazz made contact asking questions about Goodwin today. They're probably asking questions about everyone, though.

It's really nice to see that Utah is concerned about the mental condition of Goodwin. Have they diagnosed his form of down syndrome yet?

The pink version of his jersey would be a local fan favorite.

I know Jedi would buy a few for his virgin nieces.

Edit: where's the pick of Wolters? Damn it if I posted this in the wrong thread. Mind tricks...

DX has Goodwin at #17, if you guys remember right, my first ever incounter with PKM was when I was talking good about Goodwin. Not sure if shooting guard is a real need for the Jazz right now, but if he is BPA at #21 why not take a chance on him? This is the type of draft where you take risks, frankly because it is so weak and you can't get criticized if they bust because everybody else around him except one or two will as well. On a side note Larkin has moved up to #27 on DX, so also might not be a bad idea to take a look at him at #21.
