Archie at 30... wow

(this is the first mock from dx post lottery)

ok all you chicken littles. there is no proof that any team that would trade up to Dallas spot is targeting schöder. they might want McW. step away from the ledge. McW would be much better next to Ellis then schöder. schöder is more ball dominate and so is Ellis.

as far as Howard is concerned Dallas could make a pretty solid pitch with cp3, nowitzki and Howard.

if Howard goes to Houston then we could easily steal one of their plethora of pfs cheap.

as far as drafting a 3rd big tomic would make a great 3rd big. a front loaded contract would help him with the buyout and the jazz in the future.

Adams looks awesome and for me if the jazz did make a deal with Dallas Adams and schröder would be my 2 targets.

mo, schröder, wolters
Hayward, burks
Marion, bullinger, Carroll
favors, Williams, Evans
kanter, tomic, Adams

the year Adams and tomic become a 7' twin towers off the bench. bullinger and burks compliment each other. mo is on a short 2 year to mentor schöder. he is injured enough that schöder will get valuable starts minutes. wolters is a solid back up that is a change of pass to schoders quickness.

....what?

Chad Ford has almost always had a boner for international players. Darko, the dude the Nuggets drafted a while back, Chad Ford loves Euro's.

Chad Ford is also an idiot, but that's not the point.

Nuggets didn't draft Darko.

I actually think that teams that move up would be targeting a big man.

Could you imagine Sanders and Adams down low for the Bucks? That would be a long tandem. No offense but a long tandem nonetheless.

are you prepared to bring evidence that teams aren't thinking of trading up for schroder?

in your mind hes a #14 type prospect??? no more, no less?

heres my top 5: Len, Shabazz, Noel, Bennett, Schroeder

Schroeder infront of many of the jokers you guys have at #1, also many have Mclemore #1, then say this draft isnt strong.

not me.

i like my top 5, and ill take my chances.

have teams even worked these kids out yet privately.. ? (isnt that where Lillards value flew up to 6 last year?)

he will be quite good once adjusted, and i actually like this kids chances to adjust fairly seamlessly for such a young guard.

i think he maybe as effective as kemba walker, quicker than some would think

............ I reported this 2 hours ago hence the current discussion?
Been slacking on this thread.

I said this before, I'd go with Adams at #14 (he'll definitely be there if Schroeder & Gobert are off the board). I think he's top 10 material if he'd stay 1 more year in college. He also come across as smart and tough minded.

Then go with a stud 2-way 3pt shooting SG/SF: Bullock, Crabbe, Caldwell-Pope, Rice, Snell.

Adams is a shot blocking C who seems pretty smart. He can back up Favors & Kanter. Then one of the SG/SF can slot right in next to Hayward and shoot 3's ala Kawhii Leonard/Green of Spurs. Also helps boost our defense - we need a Stevenson type player, a fearless, lock down defender.
This would be a nice draft.

How? Even if the cap goes up to $60mm, and the Mavs are able to dump everyone but Dirk, CP3 and Dwight would have to take significant paycuts to sign with Dallas. Dirk makes nearly $23mm next season, and 10 min salary cap holds brings their total cap with only Dirk up to about $28mm. That leaves only $32mm in first year salary to offer Dwight and CP3 combined. No way in hell. Those 3 plus minimum salary players won't get it done anyway.

Edit: anyone know how Siva measured at the combine? (vert, standing vert, height, weight, wingspan, standing reach?)

I'm the self proclaimed leader of the Siva bandwagon.
BKf46OeCQAAL5bS.jpg:large

Check it out- Of everyone that participated in these measurements
Siva ranks
#6 in standing vert leap
#4 in max vert leap
#4 in lane agility drill
#7 in 3/4 sprint
#14 in modified lane agility drill
#7 in spot up shooting.

Those combine numbers are ridiculous considering no other draft player measured made all 6 of the standings as high as Siva did.
Combine this with the fact that he's led his team twice to the NCAA finals and I'm again befuddled as to how he's not at the very least a 2nd round draft pick consideration.

He does have small size though. But look-
Hieght w/o shoes
Burke- 5'11.75''
Siva- 5'11.5''

Standing reach
Burke- 8'1.5''
Siva- 7'9''

Bench Press
Burke- 3
Siva- 15

Go through the entire measurements and Siva beats Burke in everything but size and in size, he's not that much smaller.

let me just say this, i do not like Louisville. im a UK fan, im also from NY and a Yankees fan, and passionately hate the red sox.

but everyonce in a while they will have a good player that i will actually kind of almost admit is good. maybe, like Pedro Martinez he was great, no one would deny that. but i hate him.

anyway i like Siva, the jazz with a championship winning PG, has a nice ring to it, 7'9" wingspan and 41" vert isnt tiny, and this kid has quiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick hands on d, and good defensive balance.

we should get this kid to pair with Schroder... i really like that idea
