Following potential 2013 draftees

Ok gotta start the train. All aboard the Tyler haws train. The dude is going to be the next hornecek. He has the same work ethic. He is a little taller at 6-5 (not ideal height for an nba 2guard) but the kid can score. What's even more impressive is he hasn't been home to long from his mission. He is still working on game shape and feel. Shooting 41.5% from 3. I don't know when he is going to come out but he has Jeff hornecek written all over him.

His 42 point performance yesterday was quite impressive..... And i believe he is only a sophmore? (though an old one due to his mission)

After how disappointing Fredette has been, any BYU players stock might drop from here on.

I keep an eye on jimmer via box scores and he seems to play pretty well when he gets the oppurtunity. (which is rare)

I still think he will never be very good, but until he is in a different situation and gets some good playing time, i think it is hard to gauge whether he is a bust or not.... That kings team is just horrible, especially chemistry wise.... I cant see how jimmer could fit in with that bunch of knuckleheads.

If you're going there with Haws, you should check out Nik Stauskas - 6'6 freshman from Michigan. He is shooting .565 from the 3. Lights out shooter, looks for the 3 first, but can drive as well. Plays kind of like Mike Miller. He keeps his attempts to a minimum because the team has Burke, Robinson and Hardaway on the team. He and Robinson will get all of the focus next year unless they go early.

Interesting find. Thanks

Last night's stats for McCollum:

34 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists

9-18 FG, 6-10 3PT, 10-11 FT

He's now averaging 25.7 PPG

That is why he is still my top PG prospect this draft followed by Burke and then MCW.

I'd be happy to get any one of them. MCW is probably the most intriguing, McCollum is obviously the best scorer, and Burke is just the most well rounded. I'm more optimistic about the PG's in this draft than I was at the start of the season.

Give me MCW over McCollum.

MCW is putting up fantastic assist numbers vs. quality competition. C.J. is a senior and still only averaging 3asts per game. It's not a 'tem sucks' thing because McKnight is averaging almost 6 per night and is the 3rd leading scorer on the team. CJ is scoring, no doubt, but he's only 6'3, is not a great athlete, is htting from deep at a % WAY higher than the previous 2 seasons (34.5 and 31.5%), and has never had a year of even average assist numbers.
I like him, but not as much as MCW, for the Jazz.

Sure, I agree. Getting a great passer like MCW, or even Burke, would really help Favors reach his potential, which is obviously key to our future.

Some early season highlights of Shabazz (doesn't include his best games)
