I think KOC has 'Draft BPA' tatooed somewhere on his back so you don't need to worry.. it's still frustrating to have to wait another year though...
Did you just copy what I wrote in my 6th grade science textbook??

I hate to be a broken record and say things that are obvious.. but I advise against reaching for a PG simply because it's a need. I don't think ANY of the PG's in this draft are all that good, aka elite..
One, maybe two, will emerge as a decent PG, but as of right now, no one has a great read on who that will be. Yes, we need a PG, but unless we work someone out and the FO just gets a great feel from a kid and has a solid hunch, draft bpa.
Burke at 18 i'd take it with open arms.
Yes. Definitely. Oh, and Espn sucks.
Point Guard/Nbadraft.net Ranking/ESPN Ranking/Draftexpress Ranking
Smart................#3.........................#6....................#7
MCW..................#9.........................#9...................#9
McCollum..........#12.......................#16..................#15
Burke................#23.......................#14..................#18
Kabongo...........#37.......................#27..................#44
Young...............#55.......................#21..................#22
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smart is out of the question for the Jazz right now, MCW is borderline but he is pretty much out of the question right now as well. McCollum, Burke are definitely in play for the Jazz with their own pick. Kabongo, Young are definitely in play for the Jazz with the GSW pick. Jazz might have their pick out of Burke and McCollum with their pick or maybe MCW depending where the pick ends up at the end of the year. With the GSW the Jazz could go with a small forward if they pick a point guard with their first pick or vice versa depending on what position they pick with their first pick.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the 17 teams right now that would pick ahead of the Jazz if the draft started today. I went through everyone of them and decided if they would pick a point guard or not:
1. Charlotte - No, they have Kemba Walker.
2. Washington - No, they have John Wall.
3. Orlando - Yes, Marcus Smart maybe.
4. Cleveland - No, they have Kyrie Irving.
5. New Orleans - Maybe, if Orlando doesn't pick Smart.
6. Sacramento - No, they have Isaiah Thomas, just drafted Jimmer.
7. Phoenix - No, they have Goran Dragic, just drafted Marshall.
8. Oklahoma City - No, they have Russell Westbrook.
9. Detroit - Maybe, they just traded for Jose Calderon(re-sign?).
10. Minnesota - No, they have Ricky Rubio.
11. Dallas - Yes, Michael Carter-Williams maybe.
12. Philadelphia - No, they have Jrue Holiday.
13. Phoenix - No, they have Goran Dragic, just drafted Marshall.
14. Charlotte - No, they have Kemba Walker.
15. Boston - No, they have Rajon Rondo.
16. Milwaukee - No, they have Brandon Jennings.
17. Atlanta - No, they have Teague and Harris.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most likely two point guards will be drafted before the Jazz pick and there are very slim chances that three of them would get drafted before the Jazz pick. Smart, MCW will potentially be gone leaving the Jazz to choose between Burke, McCollum with their first pick anywhere between (15-19). Worst comes to worst three out of Smart, MCW, McCollum, and Burke get drafted leaving the Jazz to pick whoever didn't get picked out of Burke, McCollum.
Teams aren't gonna pass on a PG they like because they have guys like Kemba, Jennings, Teague, Thomas, Dragic, or Calderon on their roster, especially outside the top ten.
If an NBA team is darfting for need instead of BPA outside of the top ten they are tarded.

I agree for the most part, but there are only two point guards right now that are worthy of a top-10 pick.
Mr. Spycam, don't you know? Trey Burke is what young people would call 'the truth'. In fact, I have adopted a nickname from Trey Burke.
Trey Black Jesus Burke.
