Following potential 2013 draftees

Can we afford pay those 3 bigs big ca$h though? Kanter & Favors would already cost us quite a bit. We'll end up having to trade one of the 3 regardless. WCS would be too much of a project. I'd say draft him, keep him 1-2 years then ditch him for a stud PG. That would be my plan if he's available.

Do you know if he's coming out this year, just quietly?

There's not been much conversation on it yet. WCS has said he'll discuss it after the season is over. My gut is 80% to the draft.

Is it too early to take a closer look at Poythress, WCS, Burke (not that we haven't) and McCollum? Or is there a chance that we'll still make the playoffs?

ok cy I want to be on record as saying that I liked porter last year and said he was going to be the steal of the draft if he improved his shot. (to lazy to go through all the pages to find it) now with that said, I haven't said anything about him this year because he is not in our range.

as far as ugli banging on his bongo he would be a decent pick in the 20's.

I am liking the idea of taking poythress more and more. if some how we could get poythress and Burke I would wet myself then and there. now if the jazz target McCullum I think saric is the best match with him, with saric's passing ability coupled with mccullums scoring.

Nate wolters is my pick in the second round. we will have o move up to get him me thinks. offer a couple future seconds or something and a swap.

if my wet dream comes true this would be my team next year

mo, Burke, wolters
burks, foye
Hayward, poythress, Carroll
favors, Evans
kanter, splitter, Aldrich

mo because he is easy to re-sign for around the mid. splitter for around 8 he could even start ahead of kanter. Aldrich is a vet min player to fill out the roster. that team might struggle some next year but it is going to get good quickly.
