Call me nuts...but I think Ben McLemore could really use another year in school.

It will never happen, since he'll be a top 5 pick (and would probably slip in 2014). But given his crazy background, passive style, and tendency to cower on the big stage, I feel like he could use another year at KU to man up a little bit. His psyche seems a bit fragile to me. I could see him hitting some lumps early on and not being mentally equipped enough to handle them.

I only get worn out when the same people just fly-by and say Cal's a cheater or whatever and only looking for a response. I don't mind it, except when it's like every post.. the only thing I would add is izzo has done more with less talent. cal is the best recruiter ever

Nearly everyone that comes out could use another year or two in college.. of course they could also use a couple mil.
 
Our bench would look nice with Withey. Could you imagine our defense with Withey, Evans, and junkyard dog?

I'm not sure why Withey isn't ranked higher. He's going to be at least as good as Asik or Gortat. True centers are at a premium in todays nba.

There are plenty of good debates, but for every one there is a counter (both ways). Izzo may have had less talent.. but how much less? And Cal coaches these kids up in one year.. whereas Izzo has them for four years, typically.

Again, I'm not trying to prove anything at all.. just friendly debate.

Very good points. In a big game, who do you want on that sideline though? Maybe I'm not being objective, but I'd go with Izzo all day, every day.
